I don't cut the spurs, I just twist them off. They come off real easy and little blood. The stub underneath will grow another spur back eventually.

@naoluongthao89 yeah, My friend had to cut my roosters spurs, and they havent grown back the littlest bit. Its so nice to not have to worry about them (:
