@bagleman64 Because in windwaker it explains that the master sword is the seal to Ganon and his power, including minions.

@bagleman64 its a different link for each generation with exceptions. MM and PH for example. and Ganon should be dead. but hes not. the one in windwaker was KILLED but according to the timeline weve never seen him be revived and we dont know how it happens. maybe nintendo will show how he returns from windwaker, if he ever does that is.

@bagleman64 Ganon was never really killed, was he? I don't think they can kill him... Eh, in Ocarina of Time at least. All they did was seal him in the Sacred Realm, but I think both Twilight Princess and Wind Waker have Ganon turning to stone/ dying at the end!

But I'm a fan of the theory of 'Ganon's Resurrection', and I'm pretty sure in Twilight Princess it was Zant who helped restore Ganon to power :)
