wie gesangt: lies mal die regeln durch. ein auf dem feld befindlicher fussballer bekommt für eine tätlichkeit/absichtliches foul am schiedsrichter/fan/security/etc notwendigerweise rot. ZUSÄTZLICH könnte eine privat-oder strafrechtliche klage hinzukommen, sofern vom fan angestrengt.

The yellow card was exactly the right thing to do in this case.

this guy looks like having 16-18 years, probably a kid wannabe.
kovac got away well with yellow card though, players can "earn" their cards for showing rude things to public and a money fine as well.
but i am rather interested if he actually knocked his own team's fan (kid is holding white shirt). if he isn't, i guess fans will probably love it. but if he hit hiw own fan then he is some real piece of work and a jerk, thats worse than if his team even lost that game if you ask me.

The referee is an idiot... Yes, may be the rule says to show a card in these cases, but Kovac acts right tackling that fucking stupid. Just think about the other players security, maybe next time the "jumper" holds a knife or similar... WELL DONE KOVAC!!! BUT YOU HAVE BEEN VERY "SOFT", NEXT TIME KICK HIS FACE HARD WITH YOUR BOOT!!!

Illegal assaults are punished with the red card, even when done to team mates, spectators, officials or other any other person.

Sorry, but that's not true either - red card is for assaults (such as punching someone in the face, etc.) - can't really say this one was brutal, violent or bad sportsmanship.
The yellow card was exactly the right thing to do in this case.
