Hey i got this awhile ago and i was wondering how to run the videos on my computer not strait to youtube

I plugged it in moved files off camera and click them.. it opens with stupid quick time.. but the videos is really choppy .. like not watchable choppy and audio is fine

I tried converting it to avi with a random converter i found on the internet but that definitely didnt work

also i tried opening it with windows media player, VLC and a bunch of other things

Any ideas that will work?

just got this for christmas. I also thought it was some lame rip off the flip cam (bad economy spouts lots of those) but its better! the screen is huge compared to the flip and while the sound quality and hd video is nearly identical.

It's super lightweight and easy to use right out of the box.

No joke, between the kodak zi6 and the flip, I'd choose this kodak!

I don't know much about the flip. I got a Zi6 after Christmas at Sears for $80. The Zi6 actually records in 2 channel stereo even though the manual says mono. I found the Zi6 does about as good in low light as my Canon A540. The microphone picks up sound well. It's nice it uses AA batteries and is reasonably priced.

When this camera was new it was $160 and Office Max still sells it for $160. The Flip costs at least $200. Just the regular flip that doesn't shoot in HD costs $150.

Well it came with software, but if i save it, say in hd, can i get more time? + i suck at editing, icant cut at all.

i got this cam corder,when i saw it i thought ..o just a nother low buget rip of the FLIP .but accually it is not this thing is great ,i freestyle ski and i like to film snowboarding to and i use a 8 gb card but a 4 gb is also pretty good .i also recomend a hard case because the one it comes with is good to protect the screen of scratches but not gravity :) but a 4/5 stars i think or mabye a little bit more .

I'm beginning to like this camera very much. I was able to record just over 4 hours of footage with HD quality @30 fps. You need to have VERY steady hands when taking photo stills with this camera, or you will get a blurred photo.
