@s2knott I tried to find another pair of them from Infinite LEDs and it looks like the place has shut down business. I'm pretty sure you can find some similar at VLED's website but I'm not sure.
Those look great. You can fix the 'fast' flash with an LED Flasher or a resistor as you said. The way I did it in my dads truck was I wired up a relay to the flasher...seems to work
I ended up doing the resistors with these. After I got rid of the car in July I took the LEDs out.. they're gunna go on my Jeep now. But thanks, they really did make my car look less.. usual haha
This is actually a pretty good idea. I have not heard of LED bulbs for turn signals. I was not happy with the amber color either so I rewired my headlights so only the light behind the reflectors blink.
Those are awesome, I am looking at getting LED bulbs for my truck. On my truck I got lucky enough to not need the resistors, that sucks that you have to put them on your car though.
if you dont have the keys then how did you get in the car
LucasAdamWilliams 8 months ago
the reason they flash rapidly is because you need a relay to trick your car into thinking it's a halogen bulb.

@pepene93 i got some but like it said to keep them ventilated for heat and i cant do that lol
alexgonick 8 months ago
@alexgonick i dont think they need to be ventilated. you could put them on the chassis, and thatll keep them cool
pepene93 8 months ago
@pepene93 thank you for the info. ill look into it. thanks a bunch. the cars computers seem to be helping but they still slip sometimes
alexgonick 8 months ago
@alexgonick its not that they slip, its that theyre not designed to account for modifications. they expect us to drive boring stock cars.
