have been FORCED OUT as 4 freespeech explained. They aways had young
black musicians joining those bands and they were New Orleans tradition.
FEMA and rich white developers used Katrina to HOG DOWN.
The ENTIRE black community of musicians, workers and CULTURE has been
DESTROYED in N.O.
It is probably one of the greatest tragedies of the century, that a thriving,
unique culture has been KILLED for GREED. N.O. is GONE!

Its called GENTRIFICATION. We don't see the ROYAL brass band either,
or other African-American bands we were used to BEFORE KATRINA.
Low income housing has been bulldozed in New Orleans and that's where
most of the musicians lived.
Over 100 years New Orleans was 60%+ African-American. That gave
the "Big Easy" its SOUL & CULTURE. You could live and work in New
Orleans as low-income and enjoy life.
You could also visit N.O. "on a shoestring" and have a wonderful time.
That's OVER!
