  • It's not the Indian visa criminals...it's the American corporate elite that hire them and avoid...at all costs...hiring from any of the qualified American citizens that are out of work. If you can pay an Indian computer software engineer $65K, you would pay an American $120k. So profit is the motive. That's like blaming the addict for the drug pusher. So much for the "Job Creators"!!! Obama-Biden 2012!!!

  • @coachmarc70 Who put it in the minds of the American corporate elite to "cut costs" and use cheap labor? India, Inc. American companies had no problem paying US citizens top dollar before Indian scum got here. Many of the corporate elite ARE Indians. Pepsi, Citibank, and Adobe are all run by Indians, Just to name a few. $65K for someone who produces junk that doesn't work is too much. How come only IT workers are being targeted and not overpaid CEOs, actors, or stockborkers?

  • @coachmarc70 Long before Indians ever came here Americans built the IT industry out of nothing to the tune of $1.4 TRILLION a year. Now that Indians have taken it over and are cheaper, the economy is collpasing. Indians destroyed American tech institutions such as Sun, PeopleSoft, Bell Labs, and lots of financial institutions like Lehman, Fannie Mae, CountryWide. America has lost 28 MILLION jobs since these job-beggars got here in 1998. The US econ was BOOMING before that.

  • Was never a big Dan Rather fan but major cudos for bringing the shameful Indian visa criminals to the fore.

  • As someone who worked in software for 16 years and wrote 18 commercial software products, I can tell you this is just the tip of the iceberg. These Indian organized crime rackets known as "outsourcers" are doing nothing more than tearing through our companies, cleaning them out, collecting $, and sending it all back to India. Meanwhile the companies they do deals with collapse (GM, Fannie Mae, Lehman, Quark, Bell labs, just to name a few). They should all be shut down under RICO laws.

  • It is time for our corporation to be patriotic. Our lawmakers are totaly misguided by special interest to import workers on the pretext we don't have qualified americans to fill the jo even though they know of massive visa fraud and loopholes. Who will support this program those who gain from this.

  • Why the hell should a company pay a living wage a decrees profits for gods sake. It is all for profit so is is all ok right?Fuck these companies fuck the USA for letting this shit happen to our people. Fuck India, fuck China.

  • @funvideo007 It is so capitalist pigs never have to pay a living wage. the only way they can max out profits is to cheat their workers.

  • I complained to IRS about Indian companies frauds and mailed IRS that I can provide proofs of tax fraud for 1 million dollars. IRS did not even reply my mail. I also mentioned how the tax fraud brings unemployment problems. When I called the IRS one lady spoke in very strong chinese accent and told me 'your complaint has late priority' and did nothing for last two years. if you see my video, you can see one video related to this.

  • @jaykumarr That is why you have to document all dialog with them, and if they fail to protect this nation, then you sue them in court.

  • @MrAppleseed88

Thank you for your support. I cannot sue them, as I am an Indian in Visa. But I can work with legal professionals as first hand evidence.

I worked in Hexaware, they sent me to US in Business visa, but later I came to know they were billing clients 600$ ($41,000 for entire duration) a day and pays no salary to me. If they pay salary, i tax would have been $3000 ~. Rather they paid per diem and accodmadation. (continued....)

  • (continuation....) And Hexaware bring 2300 workers like me, that means they avoid $7 Million taxes. This is happening for last 10 years or more. My complaints to both IRS and INS did not bring any results.

Just think over, what if the same is done by dozens of Indian companies...

  • Indian company Hexaware Technologies does same fraud. Hexaware Technologies advise the candidates to show up fraudulent certifications, fake experience and bring undereducated Indians to US and bill $70/hr - 100$/hr. (Guess how happy an American will be to work for >$100 K ). After billing 70$-100$/hr, Hexaware pays no salary but per diem ( so no tax to US IRS) . Hexaware pays off house rentals for workers directly to apartment companies in lieu of salary to workers lest paying tax to US govt.

  • All Indian outsourcing companies are fraud, they all should be banned, Government should ban new H1B's

  • I became interested in looking into this after realizing how one of the CIOs, of Verizon, Shadman Zafar is, so heartlessly, throwing money around. It is my belief that he has made a tremendous amount of money by helping people getting H1B and other programs that are designed to deprive Americans of job opportunities at least at Verizon. One of the examples of this fact is, Farhan Syed and a programmer I know as Hussaini. Does Shadman Zafar runs a Mafia of H1B?

  • +1 for using the term "open secrets"

  • Incredible that there are <200 views here. If you think of the number of Americans who used to work in IT and made a good living at it who are now unemployed or working in a "new" lower paying career, well it must be in the tens of thousands or even higher. Congress better start protecting its own citizens here in the US against these predatory practices of companies like Infosys. The foreign workers who come here to work on B1 visas are little more than prostitutes. They are not welcome here.

  • @gimmeshelter1969

H1B visa workers are prostitutes? Dude, prostitution is illegal and you don't lose tax or employment because of prostitution. H1B is fine, but Indians in H1B are 80% Bull Shits with fraudulent certificates or experiences.

I agree that this video should have been seen by 100,000 people.. but shame.. very few had seen.. better had changed name of video as "indian nude". would have got million hits

  • 4. This jobs are more of a posting-to-another-location. Unfortunately the location is US and companies have to go through all the visa troubles.

    5. This report does not highlight main reasons for not hiring US citizens.

They could have made a detailed report highlighting greed of US corporations.

  • Good to see media getting into such things but this report misses out few things:

    1. B1 is tiny % of total foreign workers. L1 lead the pack followed by H1B-both totally legal.

    2. Foreign workers mainly come for KT (Knowledge Transfer) that they posses while working on the project for some time off shore. Basically difficult to replace.

    3. This jobs are mainly short term, ranging from 4 weeks to 15 months-averaging 4-6 months. how many people will take such jobs ?

    contd...

  • Recall that Obama recently met with Titans of Silicon (Santa Clara) valley such as Stev Jobs, and Larry Ellison and the face book guy and the google guy, etc. for the expressed purpose of creating jobs. You can bet that each of these CEOs saying to Obama one thing: Hire More Foreign Workers. We need to hire more foreign workers. he should talk to an American worker, not only the CEOs.

  • A couple of weeks ago under the pretense of a news story, Tom Brokaw narrated an H1B visa infomercial designed to push the H1B visa program that is extremely beneficial to the financial interests of his employer Bill Gates. The H1B visa and other work visas have long been used to fill vacancies created by Microsoft's recent massive layoffs of US STEM workers.

Not once did Tom Brokaw mention a recent GAO study that reports that 50% of the H1B visas are used by entry level workers.

  • The Infosys scam is explained fairly well. Nice to see mainstream media doing anything more than parroting corporate propaganda.

  • Thanks for this report. This issue has been out of the light of day for too long. Business at any cost in the U.S. needs to come to an end or we all lose. I know how hard it is to get people to speak out loud but that is because they fear for their futures, in the very tight world of high tech hiring and work.
