Each roof rib is simply tied to the trellis . There is a single cord attached to the end of each rib, which wraps around the top of the trellis (wall) and ties off with a clove hitch. Easy to do, easy to remove and very strong. The band around the top of the wall prevents the roof pushing the wall out.

Thanks for the answer on that. I'm stuck on how you get the bend in the roof rib. 1:40 is what I'm talking about. I want to make on of these so bad.
