  • Wookie Bass... gawddam!!!

  • anda cool tk to Mustaine

  • If not fer Cliff, tallica's early songs would not be based upon Glenn Danzig

  • BEAST BASS is all we can say...

  • CLIFF never forget....from Italy

  • Last Metallica album was Justice For All....it was the last album with the Burton vibe...then the band dissolved and became a ..well Load of shit and Nothing Else Mattered besides playing in stadiums for outrageous ticket prices with acts like Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit. Metallica died with Cliff. You all can still listen to Lars Hatfield and co.

  • @ToughestMilkman 100% agree, metallica died with cliff.. now days they play crap like lulu and instead of supporting metal with the orion festival. they let only hipster/student/radio crap music play... the latest they have done was a rapping mix with JAY-Z... and to top it all off lars have gone public and said the fans are for narrow minded idiots because they dont buy lulu. next up is artsy fartsy 3d movie.... train wreak metallica is at full speed to end their career.

  • @ToughestMilkman i agree.

  • I do not know what to say.

Between a genius and a great song, I can not find the words.

It is still too good for that cry, cry, is the level of beauty underneath.

  • poor jason jaja... i bet he and maybe rob secretly dislike this video

  • It's so differently fantastic the way Metallica sounded back in the times when Cliff took control of the bass. If Metallica is great without him, I cannot imagine what would have been of Metallica with him.

  • who the FUCK whould dislike this video

  • N poderia o reino da sauvaçao

me levar p ksa...bela frase na lapide do cliff...pra sempre o melhor

  • let's al face it...when great people meet they are bouned to split up:metallica GnR

  • 2:41 where's kirk?

  • @DumpyPaggy Kirk wasn't in the band by then.. the guy standing next to Cliff is Dave Mustaine

  • @xBenjaxGuitar

oh, I thought that Cliff Burton came after Dave Mustaine.

  • I was 16 years old when he died, and at age of 41, I still dream of playing the bass like him, he was so awesome

  • From an Iron Maiden fan, Cliff for me is the second greatest composer and bassist on Planet Earth after Steve Harris. I love Cliff, and i extend my deepest respect to this great man. RIP mate, you are and always will be an inspiration. UP THE IRONS!

  • On first and third photos Cliff looks like Arnie Schwarznegger )))

Cliff not died, he is... (see terminator 2 end scene) =)

  • @98bigbutt or justin biber

  • If Cliff was alive today he be a dork just like the rest of metallica ... the bus did him a favour.

  • @MrRobotron666 no man... too soon...

  • @MrRobotron666 I can't believe you really wrote that!!!How dare you?!Cliff was and always will be one of the greatest!Have some respect for him and for Metallica as well!If you think they are dorks why did you even clicked on that video?!

  • @MrM2k3 i'm saying if he was alive today he'd be the bass player on lulu

  • @MrRobotron666 Maybe Lulu wouldn't have happened if Cliff was alive

  • @MrRobotron666,That's not true because I believe that if Cliff would have been alive today, Metallica would have been more great with their music and Cliff would have been more respected by greater musicians like Eric Clapton.

  • @MrRobotron666 its because he died that metallica are dorks

  • o dislikes... better stay that fukin way

  • orale ese brown priders like metal too homie!! nice tribute!!! i was raised listenen to venom, slayer , metallica , hirax, saxon, accept, ect i can go on homie!! and them i like my oldies, and funk!!

  • 2:33 - 2:53 I think this is Ron Mc Govney on that pic, not Cliff

  • @chouzouris WTF ?? in the left man...shit...

  • @MetallicaForHope

Yeah, I was wrong, that's definitely Cliff. Maybe I got fooled by Dave being on Cliff's side.

  • @chouzouris yeah...I thinks Dave looks pretty similar to Ron...but is just my oppinion...

  • @MetallicaForHope

Νο, no, what I meant is that because Dave and Ron had been together in the band I got confused and thought that was Ron in the picture

  • @chouzouris o...sorry, my bad :P rock on \m/ !

  • @MetallicaForHope

    That's ok dude! ;)

  • @chouzouris shut up motherfucker you are not a real metallica' fan

  • @MrBleudry

Hey, watch your mouth bitch, I just made a mistake, that's Cliff allright..

  • 5:35 lars and james:serious

dave:drunk.violent and stupid (like evrytime he´s drunk)

cliff:"please get this guy far of me"

  • Dios bajo del cielo, hizo a metallica leyenda, y volvio al cielo.

  • Cliff and Hetfield in tandem made Metallica what it was. The second that combination broke, Metallica died a little bit. Cliff has a writing credit on Justice and taught James all he knew about harmony and other musical theory and as such, had a direct influence on the Black Album too. He and James contained 95% of the badass in metallica within them.

RIP Clifford Lee Burton, the reason I picked up the bass guitar almost 5 years ago.

  • @kamikaze90watermelon What about Lars? He's credited in almost every single Metallica song.

  • @kamikaze90watermelon fuck men you're right in every word.. when they lost cliff they lost their spirit, they use that anger creating justice for all but i think they lost their way because they had no one to mark the lead about the compósition of the new songs that are completely different

  • @kamikaze90watermelon ever heard of anyone named Mustain?????????

  • @redc338able No. I know a Dave Mustaine though. Mustaine (note the e) was only in the band for just over the year and the writing process for 1,5 albums. The best stuff came along after that. Cliff's influence was much stronger and was the one James himself cites as being a massive influence on him to this day. Cliff's teaching of classical harmony to james was his legacy to metallica.

  • @kamikaze90watermelon Perfectly said sir.

  • very sad. seen him in belfast a couple of weeks before he died. it was my second concert. blew me away and changed my life forever. rip mr burton. still tryin to master your bass lines. lol.

  • 4:40 That photo is so fuckin' cool, i've never seen it before!

  • cliff wanted to be the best bassist of the world because of his brother's death..and he made it..he was the best until his death..your music is still here cliff,no one can replace you at metallica, neither jason nor robert..we all love you.. R.I.P Clifford :)

  • Lars is a poser.

  • TU VIDEO ME HIZ

    O LLORAR WE

  • Man, looking back at all these old photos, you realize Cliff was the only one who knew what it really meant to be a badass. We miss you Cliff.

  • @NR92CP and james, but i can see why you would say kirk and lars arent badass.. i agree haha

  • @NR92CP he would never ever have produce the crap this era of fans are part of.. NEVER! he MUST be spinning in his grave... NO disrespect towards Cliff.. i am waaay WAAAAAAAAAAY OLD SCHOOL fan ...
