I'm a Transformers fanatic! So glad that the animated movie allowed Megatron to become Galvatron. Meg turning into a pistol were both cool and weird. He and Optimus Prime were close in height, but Meg turned into a pistol that a human and/or a Decepticon could hold? He should have been something different from the get-go. I agree with Michael Bay changing that about Ol' Megs, but he just went a lil'  off in those movies. Love the look and effects, but much of the films are off key. #LoveDa80's

lulz, it had nothing to do with Hasbro, seeing as Takara (now TakaraTomy) was the creator of all of the original material. Hasbro, or whoever the American company was that did the shitty dubbed version, was only responsible for distribution stateside & the (lack of) English voice acting.

@ichigokarasu I am sorry to correct you but you are simply wrong. The toys were originally created by Takara this is true however the storyline and character names were created by marvel comics and hasbro and then turned into the original G1 cartoon. This is also true for Beast Wars, Beast Machines, animated and Prime. There have been a few series like robots in disguise and the Unicron trilogy that were done in Japan and then dubbed but for the most part Transformers are American cartoons.
