The Barbie comment is a biased comment, yes, but the other stuff isn't. I have worked w/ celebs and CEO's. The corporate world and entertainment industry are not for the innocent (that desire celebrydom and fortune).
Also, b/c the executives encouraged her too. How much does it matter if there is only one god? Islam, Christianity and Judaism are all Semitic, monotheic religions which preach much the same thing. It's ironic that many white-skinned people want to become darker (with tanning), while many dark-skinned people strive for a light color. Everything is backwards!
Me? I am an American with no Arab heritage. I've never been the "fan" type. I think it's silly to obsess over celebrities. But I was immediately impressed with Haifa when I saw her music videos. I like her songs.

she is a beauty.. if it s artificial it s still true. but one thing shocked me i saw a youtube video haifa before surgery - she was even more beautiful than now on some early pics, an arabian beauty with dark eyes.. in that respect she should have stayed what she was, and no one could say her beauty is artificial..

Haifa hasn't been surgically altered as much as those phony "Haifa before" videos claim. Her face is the same, except that she changed her nose -- that's all. Plastic surgery cannot create a beautiful face.
The main reason Haifa looks different now than she did many years ago is that her makeup and her style have changed. Plus, she exudes more personality and charm now than she did when she was first starting out.
