TheAeroth. I think that is unfair. Israel does come across as being very hard nosed at times - then again so do other countries. Many Jewish people, including Daniel Barenboim have tried to help both the situation and the Palestinan people. No Israeli person has ever wanted to "wipe out" the Palestian people, as many nazis wanted for the Jews.
I think that both Palestine and Israel need outside intervention from the wider world community. There is too much pride and fear - on both sides.

The end of "independent" Poland was in Yalta... when was confirmed the border from nazi-soviet pact and the "gov" of Stalin in power... the "wrong" gov remined in London till 1991.
