Why would you do that to a "Crapalier?" I had a 2002 Cavalier coupe w/2.2L and that was the most awful motor I think Chevy ever made. When I got hit in my Cavalier the other drive ran a red light and t-boned my front quarter panel, let's just say it was game over from there. He was doing 30mph when he hit me and it totalled my car. I would've picked a different car to invest money in.

@hogern5 if you are considering a turbo, i would highly recomend a motor rebuild, bore the cylinders, different pistons, do the 2.3 quad 4 oil pump conversion, etc. but build your motor first, dont just slap a turbo on a stock factory motor, good luck!

Making it much more usable for the strip than a manual. That's why the muscle car guys use them religiously. Manuals are usually more prone to break and missed shifts. That 2.4 Engine is a beast! they put them in the pontiac sunfire and a pontiac Grand Am to. The 2.2ltr. Ecotech is installed here in europe in a number of cars, who all do over 165mph.

The saab.9 Turbo will sprint the 1/4mile in stock form in the low 11s. The Opel Astra Turbo with even less dispacement runs low 12s with just a1.8ltr Ecotech motor. Not to mention the new Opel GT, with the exact same Motor as the Cavi, Woops the new Vett. in the 0-60 and the 1/4mile. I Had a 02 Cav LS Sport With 380Horses, at under 886Kg, with traction mods. hey, i have a z24 cav just like this one, but i'm bored with it and i want a faster, turboed car, but i kinda want to keep my Z24 for personal reasons. Ha i just want to know, what all did you do to this one? and what was the total cost of it all? What size of turbo would i need, and where could i get a manafold to fit? Thanks dude!!!

What turbo kit do you have, what do you run and what kind of cars have you raced are they worth talikng about, I dont mean a stock ass civic or other slow ass cars like that. I DIDN"T POST THIS VIDEO / This is my car. It was no joke when it was turbo. Its now running a GMPP Eaton M45 blower 2.6 pulley with Meth Injection. Ran mid 12s on 11psi of boost when turbo Custom built by me including the 304 SS manifold. Stock bottom end thats still holding up. There is no turbo kit for the 2.4. Everything was done by hand. By the way I have turboed several cars around Chicago so ask around before you talk shit about my car fuck stick. It's beaten its fair share of cars .
