Yes you can! We still have an opening for Kotomi Ichinose, if you want to be a main character.

@thehawkcbm I'm using Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8.0 to put everything together. I hope to record as people come in (I already have Ryou's parts recorded and ready to go), however I hope to have episode 1 put together and released by Christmas/Dec. 25.

What type of humor will this series have, I mean it won't be loaded with toilet humor and cliches will it?

Well there will be a lot of making fun of all of the girls liking Tomoya and attempting to get his attention. There won't be much "potty humor" although the Operation Toilet Training Potty might become a running gag in the episode Akio talks about it.

@Bluelazor Ha! I must be blinder than I thought. I saw that Akio was listed the moment I hit post earlier. I don't mind "potty humor" but I just find it overused in abridged series.

I am glad that it sounds like you will be drawing from the characters themselves for the source of the jokes. I'll probably post a vid in a little bit or sometime tomorrow.

@thehawkcbm It's alright. Yeah it is overused to the point where it isn't funny anymore.

Yep! There's a reason people like the show and although it won't be as dramatic in the abridged series, I still want to keep that Clannad charm in it. That sounds excellent! I'm expecting a few auditions tomorrow.

I love the characters and the series has a great blend of drama and comedy. I saw the request for auditions for an abridged series of it and decided that since I am enjoying the show so much I should try to audition.
