Everyone died? What were you watching, the French version or something? I know Wash, Book, and Mr Universe died (Lanor can't be dead seeing as shes a robot and was never really alive to begin with. Though there are seven main characters alive all be it "tore up plenty" still left at the end.

I did do some thinking first. Why must I be the only one to conjur? Though I don't give you the credit, you can be assured, you probably do have an over abundance of brains. Use 'em. Its a big verse that Joss Whedon made. There can be sequals and sequals. Only thing stoppin' it is funds and drive. I'd be sure Whedon already has 2 or 3 really good ideas cooked up in the "mid-treatment" phase just waiting for stable backer to make em.

Condescending? But you do mean their "contacts" are dead when you say everybody died? The people that got hit by the operative? Like the people at Haven, maybe even Mingo and Fanty? I wonder if the Op killed Badger. I read the book and in the book version the Op tortured Mingo and Fanty until they gave him some info, I think on where Haven was or some such.

Exactly, though, not everyone died in the literal sense of the word, a good chunk of people did.

You know...Joss said that he always thought of the story that is "Serenity" the movie as the bridge for his show after two full seasons. As well all know they didn't get to that part when Fox pulled the plug. There were 15ish episodes counting the pilot as two and the unaired several. So they could do a season and a half of animated episodes and allow the main cast to reprise their roles as voice actors. It would be time saving for the actors with other gigs, they can do 20 episodes in a day.
