well, knock on-s happen when u drop the ball and pick it up again cuz u can't play the ball on the ground and if u keep dropping it and picking it up again, your opponent will have no chance to tackle, so its like cheating...thats why they created the rule of knock on.....

@MrJackanthony a knock on is simply if a player loses or knocks the ball forward. If it goes backwards it's ok, and if he regathers it before it hits the ground or another player, that's ok too.

No worries mate. They do have a pretty tough job. It seems these days they get blamed for every bad game and people pick at every bad call made. But in reality I think it is a hard game to officiate. Much more difficult than a lot of other games I think.

@KiwiNJ not another player, if it goes forward to your team then its a forward pass, you bassicaly play "advantage" if the ball knocks on and then lands in the oppenents arms
