God the AI players didn't want you to win at all on Yoshi's Island. They hit you with pretty much every normal special besides star power. The end of Rainbow Road they wanted to mess up your time so blue shell and the lightning bolt did that.

How much difference is there between the train and Toad's blue kart? It seems like Toad's has better acceleration after getting hit, but the train is a bit better for mini-turbos and presents a more narrow profile for dodging things. Btw, great videos, especially this all-cup run and the anti-blue shell tutorial.

my best time are about 31:35:00 on 150cc and 30:55:00 on mirror (both with toadette's car), but watching your videos, i know they can be better

All light karts have stronger mini-turbos than medium karts have stronger mini-turbos than heavy karts. This means that while the Koopa King is a bit faster, that will NOT make up for the weak mini-turbo when you're THAT good at snaking.

The train is one of only two cars with both speed and mini-turbo. The Bullet Blaster has the same speed, but it's much worse offroad (in spite of the 1 weight) and it's harder to drift with.

At least this game is great for having to do a bunch of trails. it never gets old (well, not as much as most games),it takes a pretty short time to beat the whole thing, and you can always improve since so much stuff you can't avoid happens in this game.

Wow! You're really good. It took me forever to get a gold trophy on all cup tour 150 cc. Every single time I was in first on the last part of Peach Beach someone just happened to have a Blue Shell and nailed me with it. I then got 5th place in the race. I guess a good strategy would be to get a light-weight set of characters and use the power-slide boost like crazy, eh? Never really thought of doing that. It gives you a good lead over everyone else. Thanks man!

It looks pretty cool when I watch it on the video. Plus, I find it a bit difficult to snake the way he does on Mario Kart: Double Dash, so it does require a bit of skill. The way I see it if you can beat 150 cc with it and get a perfect score, then it's worth trying it.

You can beat it without it as well and still get a great score. Not nearly as fast as smaking though but just as good.

Yeah, that's true. I've beaten 150 cc without snaking and snaking does require a bit of practice. Still, being able to get that far ahead of all the other racers is pretty cool which is mainly why I want to be good at snaking.

King Boo & Petey Piranha(the flower guy): defeat star cup in the mirror mode (mirror mode: defeat all-cup mode on 150 cc, all-cup mode: defeat special mode on 150 cc)
