The best comedy invention was and still is Cosmo Smallpiece. The Sky at night sketch was fantastic where he starts going on about Heavenly bodies, and then it goes off on one...Fantastic sketch.
@strangehammer Sir Enery is even worse at the very start! Watch him frantically reading a cue card for the first couple of lines before finally finding his feet. Marvellous stuff!!!!!
