@digikid84 okay, i gotta know who you sampled for the vocals or where you got them. i want to incorporate this vocal style into my music, but i don't know where to look. the closest thing i can find that resembles these vocals is freestyle and 80's music like paula abdhul, but i've listened to a lot and i don't hear the same energy and b-boy tracks don't have many female vocals. do i go further back? was it about digging and finding the right sample or is there a genre of music i can reference?
