It isn't really a stunt. It is actually a stall that develops into a spin. It is a common training maneuver.

I fly a Cessna 172 and a Columbia 350, but I may just buy a 150 for the heck of it, every one I have flown I have loved, and this just makes flying seem like so much more fun. I hope to be there with you all some time soon.

THANKS! My niece, the young lady with the boots in the beginning of the video, was in the left seat for the spin. And that was the second of two spins to get the shot right. The instructor was the young lady in the cockpit twirling her finger with the scared pilot.
