He triggers loops, samples, mixes occasionally, samples real time drum patterns with a midi controller etc etc. He's a producer, not a DJ. Listen to some of his lesser known songs, they're completely different to his mainstream stuff. Hes a really versatile artist, people just assume he's 'ruined dubstep'.
