In Mariah's First album til her third album her voice is superb & soulful, lotsa vocal dynamics but as time goes by her voice is slowly deteriorating maybe because of alcohol abuse and/or smoking (?). She just uses lots of whispering, whistling & she can not sustain high notes anymore. She fakes a lot of her live performances. Including the US National Anthem. She is looking at her back up singers every time she is hitting high notes. No comments on Regine....

In Mariah's First album til her third album her voice is superb & soulful, lotsa vocal dynamics but as time goes by her voice is slowly deteriorating maybe because of alcohol abuse and/or smoking (?). She just uses lots of whispering, whistling & she can not sustain high notes anymore. She fakes a lot of her live performances. Including the US National Anthem. She is looking at her back up singers every time she is hitting high notes. No comments on Regine....

you know what... we dont need to have a fight between mariah and regine... first they are both in different world mariah is foreign and regine is local... and there both legends and talented in there own ways... and they are not fighting and competing with one another.... regine herself admited the fact that she is a big fan of mariah carey.... so i wonder why many regine fans hate mariah... where regine is mariah fan.... im a big fan of mariah carey. but lets just love them both.....

The main reason why regine can hit such hignotes is because she manages her air well and she's a disciplined vocal artist who knows how to strengthen and take care of her voice.
Loss of discipline is the reason behind any singers downfall.

whatever u want to say, there is only one fact in this world that mariah is best singer we ever had in this world....so back off trying-to-be-mariah...!and besides cant she sing her own songs???she sings almost of mariahs song...its not that bad to be a tryin-to-be singers.but comparing them is so shallow of the people!!!
