The ACTUAL Dethklok band is Brendon Small and the guy who plays Pickles. Brendon does every other instrument except for the drums for the show, they just get backup people for when they go on tour

The show plays on that stereotype and uses it to it's advantage. It makes humor out of peoples perceptions and misconceptions of metal. That it's the "devil's music". And it creates satiric humor out of it.

Have you ever seen the show? It's about a rock group mentioned in satanic prophecies who will eventually and unknowingly bring about the end of the world...Or something like that.

The reason the singer is of a higher tone than nathan's is because Brendon does the singing of the voice very quietly, almost whispering, and it's just not possible to achieve that sound on stage without picking up all the background noise and amplifying it too.

It is also a possibility that his voice his sore after doing an entire set but considering he is a professional voice actor used to doing things over and over again for 8 hours or more I'm guessing that's not the case
