the 2nd way with command prompt doesnt work, its still blocked, and the the 1st way doesnt work becuase my school blocks from opening the start menu and right clicking on the desktop, when you do, nothing pops up, but on the start menu, it only has 1 option, which is to turn the computer off. i cant figure out how to make it were it doesnt do that!

filtering software would stop that as it knows the ip and where a proxy is involved it is not  so easy to bypass as you have to pass the request through the company proxy. Ultra Surf works though. google it

not even these solutions work for me. At our school they're using sumthin called blue reef sonar and IT BLOCKS EVERYTHING. I went to the trouble of getting cmd to work but it still blocks the website when you ping it. The default apple homepage used on the macs are even blocked! argghh I'm out of ideas. Pretty simple when it comes up after typing then site the second group you see has the URL and 1-(multiple) IP addresses, just copy that and put it into your webbrowser
