Las Vegas Mirage Unveils New Volcano

I work in Vegas. I ready this thing cost either 25 or 35 million. At the same time the company was taking more out of paychecks for health insurance and laying off a lot of people who have been there for a lot of years. People lose jobs, they spend there money on a volcano. Be serious do u know anyone that says theyre coming back to vegas because of the volcano at the mirage. Gutless

it's a tourist attraction... tourists spend money = benefits the economy

youve obviously never been to las vegas. Most everything has a purpose there.

First of all yes I have been to Vegas and thought the same thing then. Try looking at the energy cost that it takes to run the entire city let alone the fountain. Unless you are one of those people that don't believe in global warming and energy pollution you'll find that it is actually hurting us rather then helping us in any way. Plus the costs to run the city is is getting harder since gaming and spending is down due to higher prices in Nevada.

They rely on each other, just like a person uses money. There is the dollar bill and an individual... both are separate but are effected when they interact.

Example for those who are scracting their heads.

A man spends a dollar thus leaving him with none. Then he works putting his energy into labor which then gives him a dollar again to spend.
