Hey IRud3Bwoy, I have a question.

When you boot windows 7 it goes directly past the log-in screen, straight to your desktop. Did you disable your password in user account settings, or differently?

Is that the best way? I've seen people do this in, i believe, msconfig. That way they still had a password protected install, but didn't have to type it when windows started...

I'm also wondering how this will work in a Network, since connecting to another PC requires a password...

i really can't see the reason to get an ssd, ok, so im saving 5 secs or so on boot up. BIG DEAL. and im loosing loads of storage, i have to mantain it all the time, its a bitch to reinstall windows on an ssd without doing things first, and there just way to over priced. The old tech is the best tech. Can't beat the old HDD's. I agree with people who say there HDD is about the same boot, just look at my vid on a basic acer i used to have, near as makes no difference.

LOL no mech in hd loads as fast as a ssd and my new sandforce drive is faster than my old drive,i guarantee you have a ton of apps open when windows loads my ssd loads instantly and in a faster usable state,what maintenance?since getting my vertex 2 drive i have yet to maintain it and still have the same fast speeds as before,yes you have to do a few tweaks but it takes like what 5 mins or less.

plus do we really need to compare real world apps to a mech hd?because it kills it

ssd's today only have a few gain on bandwith well some are maxing out sata II, the only sure thing that will blow 7200rpm away is ssd's latency(seek time) which is almost none!

I thought an SSD would've been faster, on a fresh install, it's almost the same speed as me, and I'm on an I3 with a 32MB cache traditionnal hard drive.

that wasn't a fast boot, it took 20secs with a SSD. my computer boots in 25secs with all programs and only a 7200rpm HDD, 4gb ram and a core 2 duo 2.8GHz

yea he is a liar i got a 7200 rpm drive on my mothers pc and windows don't boot up this quick,heck even with my raptor it didn't boot up this quick,i had to wait for my programs to load/backround task,the ssd does it instantly,he is not fooling anyone,notice how i have yet to get a response video proving his hd is the same speed as mine

mine goes about just as fast on a 7200rpm WD 500gb. no offence. also do you have any crashing problems i heard SSDs crash a lot, maybe just a roomer

Hey I have 2 Super Talent Ultradrives in raid 0. I have heard that ssd's don't boot so much faster than normal harddrives, but in use they are so much faster. Don't care what peaple say thay are only jealous. Thanks for posting video's!
