My Kin Twom started acting weird and after one replacement kin, they are sending me one of these. Just wish they would have replaced the Kin with a phone with the same features. We'll see how this goes. Looks like good by data plan so far.

@9musicluverxo I just ordered this phone, and I haven't got it yet, but all the reviews say it's great. Mostly they couldn't find any 'cons', and there were plently of 'pros' about it. So most people say it's a reliable good phone. 4 out of 5 stars.

i had this phone and he's wrong. messaging is very nice! every verizon phone has that same kind of messaging interface.. if it has threaded messaging like that (unless its a smartphone) it will not go right into threaded when you first open a text. but yea very nice phone :)

They should have made the keyboard slide out from the side instead of the bottom, then it could be bigger and that would be nice.

Most of the problems you state seem to be your phone only. My friend has this phone and has no problem with the swipping of the main button. The texting thing is no big deal. and when you said the pictures don't show like on smarter phones usually that wouldn't bother me but the fact is in the top comment. You just said nobody considering this phone would buy a droid 2 then why did you even mention smart phones in comparison? I have had no problems with adaptors. This was you bashing a phone.

does this phone have a slide open to answer a call option? Also, when you slide it down does it end the call? I have the sway and like that feature. You can answer and end calls without pushing any buttons.

Before you go into buying or getting your next phone to review, you might want to remember something! You kept saying this phone isn't what you were expecting, maybe the problem here is that you had expectations. Next time drop the expectations and just take a phone for what it is. Not all phones can be a Droid, or an Apple i4, if one goes into a review with Droid's and i4's stuck on the brain, any phone will fail to compare! I'm getting this phone tomorrow, I'm keeping an open mind about it!

hey ive had this phone for about 3 months, and now its doing weird things while im texting. if i hit a certain letter it will type like 5 letters on its own or just go to the symbols randomly. i could really use some help figuring out whats wrong, thanks.

To use the optical touch thing, you have to swipe across the entire thing. Like if you started at the top you have to swipe all the way down to the bottom. If you start at the top and swipe half way, like to the ok button, it wont work.

The Pantech Jest has a major problem with freezing on the welcome screen . . . In fact, there is a group called, "Yes, the Pantech Jest Freezes" on Facebook. Search for the group because YouTube will not let me post a link, sorry, but it is an open group.

I don't know if you've discovered this yet but, you can adjust the sensitivity of the optic OK "button". I had mine for a few hours and had Facebook working great(online not the other thing). I must have really small hands because, it takes up most of one hand. I like it. =~D

i like the phone. i need a kool fone,small, quality, has music capabilities, and has video messaging and video recording capabilities with a 2+MP camera. btw its not really out of stock: call customer service and they'll send it to you. and 2 MP is terrific for a feature phone! i have th LG Voyger now it would be considered a 3G smartphone and it has the same camera/camcorder. although it looks and sounds iffy, it actually feels really sturdy. and pantech is koreas 2nd largest fone manufacturer
