ummm the begining guitar that you played is not eve close to what guitarist used in the song Lip "N" Hips. You got the reat of it pretty good but the begining is not quite what the real quitarist used. lelin is right that there is to much distortion used in songs these days and I would have to answer that question as saying maybe it makes them sound like a great guitar player, when actually it makes it sound worse. Thats just a guess lelin, can't be sure.
why does everyone today need so much distortion? I ve seen the boys live a couple of times an the play through old marshalls without any extra distortion pedals. only on their solos they might use an overdrive or booster? great outtake !!
