  • Holy sweat!

  • I saw Little Richard do this song at Bumbershoot in Seattle. He introduced it as a new Gospel tune about Jesus' returning. After he finished the song, he said, "I like that song so much, I'm gonna do it again!" and he did. After that he did a screaming version of "Lucille", and said, "I am the KING of Rock and Roll, and the QUEEN!" them he did a set of songs both the audience and I heard and never heard him do before. I love Little Richard and I'm glad I got to see him perform.

  • The 1st time I saw Little Richard was in the early 70s. He was wearing a gold lame` jacket, gold lame` pants, and gold lame` boots. At the end of his show, he was singing on top of his piano. 1st he unzipped one boot, took it off, and threw it into the audience. He did the same thing with the other boot. Then, he unzipped the jacket, took it off, and threw it into the audience. Then he unzipped the pants, took them off, and threw THEM into the audience. He was wearing a gold lame` bikini bottom.

  • The guy is an American treasure...and this DVD only has him doing 2 songs...everyone else was on stage for at least 15 min. They cut so much of Little Richard out of this. Pisses me off too.

  • Still rocking the true king of Rock and roll everybody copied him one way or the other from Elvis who sung alot of his songs down to Beatles and so on under-rated king.

  • Cant help but Love little Richard.. I though he was going to bow through the whole song... Those must have been the hottest lights in the world. He was soaked in less than two minutes. Self proclaimed King of Rock. 2funny but I don't deny him any title he wants cause he blazed that trail and many many are still following.. the look and so many things.. you can see the influence. MJ. Prince, hendrix..not enough space..

You can basically say the same for any artist which appeared on this DVD...

  • You are the Best. You are the King of rock & roll

  • He's lost it. He comes in, runs around for a bit, sits down, sings for two minutes, then throws a shoe in the public while sweating an ocean.

  • Three bows BEFORE he even plays a note .. That is GREATNESS

  • forget Presley this man IS rock & Roll

  • Little Richard and Chuck Berry are the only two surviving pioneers of what became Rock and Roll. They deserve all the adulations, box sets, TV and stage appearances, books, radio interviews, etc. that are possible. Props to Fats Domino and Jerry Lee Lewis, but Richard and Chuck set the pace and template for what followed--especially Richard. They deserve it while they're alive, so the younger generation can experience the magic and know the real history. Thanks.

  • This will make you ass drive like a Nascar driver

  • @MrTrafdlo AMEN TO THAT! I HAVE A ONE YR OLD AND SHE LOVES HIS MUSIC! WHENEVER SHE CRIES, LITTLE RICHARD IS THE SOLUTION NOT BARNEY!

  • Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis are the true kings of Rock N Roll

  • @budboy1988 Ain't that the truth man! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • woo!!!! shut up!!!! yep that's little richard. little richard read this: be like ricky martin and don't be ashamed if your bi or gay i will accept you no matter what little richard inspired me to sing and play piano again. watch and comment my videos: theghostman248. my videos: the north park trailer 1# gta 4: bledar and kalem dies

  • it's really sad that lady gaga has 185 000 000 views and the king of R&R Lil Richard has only 224 000.....this is just one more humiliating fact for this stupid world.....where is this World heading?!?!?

  • Little Richard you are the TRUE KING of ROCK AND ROLL.

  • i like more the way little Richard sang rock n roll that Elvis

  • I have known of little richard since I was four, and I have only bothered to listen to him today and already he is one of my all time favorite artists. He's way better than Elvis. When Elvis played Tutti Fruity it was shit, When Little Richard played Tutti Frutti it was awesome.

  • @hater38100

My mommy said "for listening to this kind of music, you are going to hell boy!!!"

You wanna know what I said? I'm gonna tell you. I SAID : "HELL? If the time is right for me to die, the gods of rock are gonna be there to save me and PICK ME UP TO HEAVEN!!! THERE AIN'T NO WAY FOR THE DEVIL TO GET ME, HA HA! " And I shouted: "WHATCHA GONNA DO NOW, OLD LADY??"

She then expelled me from chirch the next two months, but I DON'T CARE, because I know I'm right!

    AGREE WITH ME!

  • @mohe95 sounds almost identical to Jerry Lee Lewis - you should give credit for borrowed material.

  • Is that his band?

  • @Snodgrass- Get serious man! Read the info on the clip...zzzzzz

  • Dear Semilost,

Presumably we are all here to enjoy the music of Little Richard i.e. we are all fans. As fans we form kind of brotherhood and therefore it is bad manners to be rude to each other.

  • only4u321......Saw him in Reno Nevada during hot august nights......gave a great concert, and threw his jacket, wristwatch scarf and both boots into the crowd, was a wild wild niight!!!

  • Super video-super-rok-super RICHARD!!!

  • TO: Mantle 64 - Sorry. Should have read EaglerockTV's comments before complaining.

  • Wow, Little Richie just gave them the boot....

  • Can't see a single Afro-American in the audience that's there to see an Afro-American perform. Pretty sad.

  • That's probably because it is in Rome, Italy. However, I saw Little Richard in Pennsylvania in 2008 and the audience was nearly all white.

  • @sharonanony stop with the racism already. whites and blacks and others stick together now we dont live in the fifties anymore. lets continue to have peace ok. and just enjoy the music.

  • Thank you very much friend eaglerocktv down load this video for true rock music greats. Y think the only thing missing to be invited there was :

Norberto "Pappo" Napolitano (El Carpo) who play

together repeathedly to B.B.KING. Me love his musical sensibility downcoad this video.

My name is 47538963 and Y am from Buenos Aires- Argentina. Solong friend.

  • he seems to be a hell of self-adoring gay....

  • Little Richard and Ray Charles in the same building, can it get any better then that?

  • Yeah, if Freddie Mercury was going around and stopped for a while.(I know he didn't give many concerts that time, but IF he did...)

  • I have to be the bad guy and ask this:

Why do 99% of white guitarists rush?

I stand guilty as charged myself, but does anybody know why?

  • no, the young unexperienced guitarists rush

  • politicafarce

i completely agree. i thought i was the only who thought that. i play bass in a band and i have been pulling my hair out with the guitarist...rush, rush, rush. always ahead of the beat no matter what. it kills me. the drummer and i have been having fits, secret meetings, direct confrontations. everytime we glare at him, he always gives us the deer in the headlights stare and is clueless. does anyone have any solution?

  • Just tape your playing and make him listen and listen and listen and...

  • And In The Begining.......

  • This is REAL music.

  • Whatever else , he is still out there.

  • when was this?

  • read the information! Duhhhh...

  • you have to be HUGE to be presented by Ray Charles

  • Great rock-n-roll

  • I LOVE Little Richard and his music...true rock 'n roll. Did anyone notice when he came on the stage he was wearing a blue shirt and later in the song he had just the jacket on. Wonder when he dumped the shirt?

  • I think that at 3:15 you can see his shirt lying on the piano, next to his shoe.

  • this was an 8+ minute song w great instrumental. this is the edited version.

i wrote this song at 427 oakdene av. cliffside park nj early-mid 60s
