cotrary to popular blief this is scintificaly possible as the curviture of the bottom of the cup which has also got small shock absorber qualities to it because of the strength of the metal its self and the size and weight of the bullet. if lined up to within 1 mm the bullet can b stopped with little to know damage to the human body. Anyone saying it's fake because of the slow motion is obviously an idiot. They sell "slow motion" cameras how it works is like this, they RECORD at something like 1,000 FPS then PLAYBACK the video at 24 or 30 FPS. The result is that the video appears to be extremely slowed down like you see here. People use these to see and analyze video for details that would otherwise be to fast to actually see.

The bullet fired from the rifle is going at 600+ feet per second and is being fired incredibly close. The bullet also survives but at that speed it would split in fragments and not remain intact. The fact that it remains intact is impossible cause you see the bullet fragmenting.

They're not magicians. They're illusionist. This is another illusion. Dont think either the gun or bullet (more like pellet) were that powerful. Think about it. They didnt shoot it into a concrete block did they? The tested it by shooting it at an apple and a water balloon. An air gun pellet would have had the same effect. Still dangerous to let a guy shoot a pellet into a capsule in your mouth. But the shooter is a few feet away and the gun is on a tripod. He's not going to miss from there.
