  • @agora2570 worry not! :-) there is already integration into the rest of simpleology via lists - and much much more to come ... MJ

  • I love lists. Just as I am a tracker, I am a list maker ... lots of bits of paper.

I have just been planning to work our how to do lists in Simplie.ology and now I really can without fiddling!

I am digging the new features of tracking and listing.

  • @cleancoach thank you

  • @agora2570 The same applies to the simpleology courses... as they weren't yet integrated at the DTP, so some (many) of them are left unfinished.

  • @agora2570 I think the integration is there with "Move to DreamCatcher" and "Move to Mental Lockbox with reminder" etc. The converse danger is making the DTP too complicated. I think what there is now, with this functionality, and the fact that I can add a "Make a list for ...." target to my daily targets, & then move list items back into DTs is enough for me. But don't forget you can add requests to the the Simpleology User Feedback forum if you want Mark to consider your feature request.

  • @authentictech exactly :-) there will be some substantial improvements to Start My Day (fka "DTP") as well, but the idea here is to keep things simple and easy to use at every step

  • I love, love, love this, almost as much as I love handwriting my LISTS... lol... Thank you, Mark, Thank you, Mark's Team, you are the best!

  • @createyourdream thank you

  • Niiiiice. The implications for smart phones alone...you never have to write a shopping list on a piece of paper again. Usually I just buy the same items over and over each week, anyway. So I could just save my shopping list and make slight modifications to it each week in a few seconds. (And of course making quality control lists for my writing job will be great!)

  • Beautiful Mark! This is PERFECT and just what I was asking for! A wonderful project "next actions" tool. you guys are ON it!

    *love it*

  • The evolution of Simpleology is becoming as interesting as the software itself. Something tells me this new upgrade enables an iPhone app very soon...great stuff Mark...brilliance enabling.

  • @socialquotient1 many many interesting things coming :-)

  • I love this! I just had this thought the other day and was about to mind map some template for this like blog post, article writing and tasks I perform regularly so I can out source more.

  • I am looking forward to the Lists feature. It would also be helpful for the "visual"- minded to have a "mind"-map relating the Simpleology features found in My Day and My Life... creating a Step1, Step2, Step3... "mental picture" of putting Simpleology to use. Ron...

    Like-A-Magnet SimpleSqueeze.

  • @TagVillageUSA yeah a few folks have asked for that ... the support for the mind-mapping style isn't huge so we're not planning on doing that just yet ... there's a request for that up on the feature request board if you want to vote for it

  • I like your style, sggardner.

  • I have been using the basic To Do list using my Moleskine notebook for some areas of my work, and some personal stuff. When I bought an iPad2, I immediately downloaded the "Wunderlist" which I have been using extensively. Amazing app, considering its free. I think its simplicity gives the Wunderlist the power. I hope you can restrain yourself from adding more and more features , and just maintain the simplicity of Simpleology Lists. Simplicity is Elegance, but I add Simplicity is Power!

  • PS- quinoa is not Paleo. :)

  • @sggardner really? I thought quinoa, amaranth, and spelt were pale-acceptable grain substitutes?

  • What is the difference between the How To list and doing hte backwards planner?

  • @sggardner hey, not too much just yet actually - at least not in presentation - but lists do have more functionality ... (all the right-click features) ... very soon much much more will be added
