@iluvmyaxe Thanks for watching. I must admit i'm no professional but we have some blue lightbulbs and some dimming switches that we use to turn the lights down low a lot for ambiance. I think it also depends on what type of sensors your camera is using (CMOS or CCD). I think the camera we used has CMOS sensors.
@hotrat77 i have to check into puting a dimmer into my jam room and blue lights ... i have xmas lights hang from the ceiling and they just dont give off enough light for the cam its perfect in real life but not for the cam lol
@iluvmyaxe Doesn't matter If you don't have dimming switches at your place just try to use 60 watts blue lightbulbs. No christmast lights lol ;) + Try not to have em into your framing to avoid the lens flares.
@iluvmyaxe ya that's what we're using, ordinary cheap light bulbs... The more darker the color is, the more watts you'll need. You better not mix the colors and not too many lights on at the same time. If the color opacity is too high and you only have 60 watts or less you won't have enough light..so if your bulbs are pretty dark, you better buy 100 watts bulbs. Personally, i prefer 3 X 60 watts clear blue lightbulbs. The result is what you saw on that vid i guess u'll do fine with that ;)
nice sound , how did you shoot the vid in lower lighting im haveing troubles doing that
