  • Epic Ending to a heart-pounding movie!.....This is what i call a movie. This movie should still be winning Oscars.I know the story was accurate to the real life sory but i'm talking about the film.It was a powerful film.

  • The greatest movie ever made.Up to this day everytime I get to listen to this song or watch the movie I get the same reaction,my skin shivers.

  • YouTube. 23 hours dead

  • good actor

  • armenia+greek MESUT????

  • i love this man

  • Canada should just invade Turkey and rename it Chicken.

  • LONG LIVE TURKEY.....................shit probaganda film...armenia+greek LONG LIV TURK ;LONG LIVE OTTOMAN EMPIRE;;;;

  • @Mesut173 what Armenia and Greece have to do with this film? Ottoman empire ?????????????axaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxa

  • Buenisimaa, la musica , vi esta pelicula hace muchoss años, hoy recorde la musica, me encanta.....

  • What an ending, truly spellbinding... The man walks into the sunlight...This theme version is better than the official soundtrack, I think.

  • I saw this movie when I was in college. The music remains haunting as ever.

  • Cual es el título de la canción que suena? Busco sobre todo la versión del video.

    What is the song?

  • Thumbs up if you're a grown man and you cried at the end of Midnight Express.

  • 3 people are Turks!

  • Ti malakies einai aftes pou lete re skatotourkoi??? tetoia zwa eiste k xeirotera....

  • @makeupalexis Your main tourist attraction city is Constantinople, that certainly can't be right.

  • @birdyboy1961 Yes already The movie wants you think like that.

  • @dashnakk Where you from taşnak!

  • @dashnakk and you still live under poverty begging Turks to open up its borders for you so you can eat some bread and drink some water that doesnt come from underground sewer..

keep bein jealous of Turkish nation...You like it or not,it is on its way to becoming a superpower again as once it was..

  • @torero34 It's a fact that the Turks have only been dominant throughout history because of their violent and fascist ideology and policy. I myself am a proud Armenian, how could you expect me to forgive them? The Armenian genocide of 1915--1923, the massacre of 1.5 million Armenians which took place on Armenian soil. You say jealous of the Turkish nation? Jealous of what exactly? They or you weren't even a nation till Attaturk rose to power during the first half of the 20th century.

  • @torero34 You were uncivilized barbarians, consisting of people from different ancestry origins, you say the Turks have power now? You can't rely on the Western world forever, and also massacring hundreds of Kurds on a daily basis, Western Armenia (Eastern Turkey) will be Kurdistan one day, which is sad for us Armenians but at least it won't be in your hands anymore, how do you sleep at night when your people destroy 2000 year old churches and crossstones daily.

  • @torero34 You speak of Propaganda? Wait, weren't you the ones speaking of peace and democracy against Bashar Al-Assad while supplying the Syrian government with firearm? Also the same people who are massacring hundreds of Kurds daily?

  • @dashnakk fuck you asala terrorist....your country is a shit country of the world....you are damned nation.

  • Comment removed

  • @osmanoman

    fuck your self.. dirty turk.

  • @birdyboy1961 my pleasure

  • @birdyboy1961 fuck you moron

  • @birdyboy1961 and you must be the dummest person on earth believing on made-up things on a prejudiced movie that is merely done by armenian and greek lobby who hate Turks!!

  • Horrible drug laws, too many people in prison, draconian internment conditions, wait is this a movie about the U.S?

  • I love the music from this film but am sad at idiotic comments about Turks from those simple minded people who believe everything they watch on movies. I have lived in Turkey. Turks are hard-working, decent people with far higher moral standards and better treatment towards women than in the UK, my home country. They had to be portrayed as extra evil to make the movie exciting but it isn't all real!!!

  • le passage de ce film est stressant!!!! d'ailleurs à tout ceux qui ne l'ont encore jamais vu aller go!!!! il est poignant, la musique elle est superbe

  • is there any version of the score playing here available anywhere?

  • The best part is missing, namely the direction of change when he goes around and left!

  • Viva la Turquie

Fuck all the people they don't like the Turks, And i know why they don't like, Because the Turks and in the past the Ottomans fuck them all, but anyway we are not enemies!

  • 2:21 Just wanna play "RATM : Freedom" oh yeah! :-)))

  • brilliant ending love this film freedom! i just love it when he jumps up in the air!junysaerus

  • I find this scene very beautiful. The symbol is very strong; the policeman throwing the keys meaning that he's throwing his freedom at his feet. I love this end. It is beautiful.

  • the story is more fiction than fact to make it a truly great film. but nevertheless its riveting and full of allegories about how we should treasure our life and freedom. the ending in which Billy walks out into the sunlight is just incredibly moving.

  • you idiots do you know Billy Hayes 's real story , wacth real Billy he says "fuck midnight express it s full lie" watch?v=pHjLMnGkedU

  • it is a great movie - not more and not less. I saw it when i was 12 (in 1980) . It´s a fantastic crime movie. It lives with fantastic actors...... I am german. And there are many geat movies against germany. .... and this movie maybe plays in turkey.

  • Auf dieses Video antworten... Nato is imperalism so what did you saved??

  • @danilos767 kurds problem is a really a long story. kurds especially lives

  • @danilos767 we sent money to somalia because THEY ARE DIEING, you may not understand this but they are all hungry , kids womans, etc.. do you know helping? have u ever helped someone?

  • @danilos767 you're completely funny.. you don't know anything about here.

if everybody in the world thinks as you, we are not human, we are animal.. we cant explain anything to the world..

  • 0:13 the hand of God

  • this film has been made when turkey - united states relations are bad on 70s. and again i think that this film has supported by usa government. at the beginning its written that BASED ON TRUE STORY, actually YES ITS STORY, but US FAIRY STORY. tell us who was billy hayes on real life?

i said it in a objective manner. i'm not nationalist, yes i'm turk but i know that i'm the citizen of the world.

  • Je sais pas ou il n t tourné ce film mais c pas en Turquie :).

Vu la façon donc parles les gardiens

  • Best movie! all is thrue what happend in turkey-prison...

  • @danilos767 are u sure its all true? have u been in a prison in turkey?

you're really either idiot or fascist. or both of them.

  • @spiritualized1986 thxthank you, my friend, is the first in a Turkish prison and the time just to please when it comes drum without insult, secondly you will not be the person in countries like Iran arabia usa etc ... people were executed and the Turkish police is not holy! thanks for the insult ...

  • @danilos767Hello, I was years ago in Turkey as a stopover on his trip! I ask for your own words was not in a Turkish prison, but because as my friend in a Turkish prison is all I can say with one hundred percent that it is so with corruption with the negotiations is I have phoned several times and told me everything with them he madeeight days they have hanged him tortured, beaten only admitting something my friend had negotiations six and all of canceled and why money, I do not

  • @spiritualized1986 watch Tangier prison in marocco, he was there too so don´t think too much about your country witch ever it is....dreamer and what did my rate have got with fasicst or idiot to do?? one set with true..

  • @danilos767 just answer my question, have u been in a turkey-prison? or have u been in a turkey yet? i dont think so. turkey isnt a shit country like this movie.

i know police is not holy, actually i dont like polices, all the police's fucked up in the world. but this is a different topic. you said all the true what happened in turkey prison and i just wanna listen to you that you have been in a turkey prison or not.

the capital execution punishment was abolished in turkey 11 years ago.

  • @danilos767 ask you do you think has now erdogan every policeman in the hand because he has brought reforms to akp party sent money to Somalia and the Kurds have no road, you want to tell me that turkey is a democratic country so much to your question ... and if you are not English can not then later used the trans by google ... so look forward to your argument.gruss danilo

  • Η Ελλάδα ήταν πάντα Ανθρώπινη

  • @geo62188 ηταν.

  • @ElectricBlueCitrus He was rightfully convicted..as a drug trafficker.

  • Mentioning the fact that he was subjected to a serious beating on the first night in the Turkish prison, Billy Hayes declared: "I committed a crime. If I had the opportunity to choose, I will prefer Turkish jails to those of America."

  • What a ending!!!! one of the best endings i ever see!!! You feel the character and the heart pumping!!!! Excellent..and the music!!!!!
