When i was in Rome recently a lady sang this in the restaurant everyone was singing and clapping it was wonderful. So finding this brought back such nice memories :) i visit Capri and Rome when i can i just love Italy :) ..Fran Jeffries is just fab singing this and the film is great too very funny.

This is my friend's grandmother, and I can see all the similarities in her performance style from then and now. I just saw her perform at my friend's wedding this weekend- and she's still got it in spades! What a knock out performer, and so beautiful. I wish we still had show stopper numbers like this in cinema.

Simply stunning and Fran Jeffries version was and always will be the best! Perhaps it was the 1964 era. I was always surprised it was never on the soundtrack albumn (her version). This first one was the absolute "classiest" Pink Panther ever filmed. Also, for those of you who think Fran Jeffries is a knockout-check out her "Playboy" magazine photos. She has other "talents"-ha!
