@cosmopolite1 Do u know what i did , i downloaded a text to speech program and a pdf file of the manual . Then i copyed and pasted all the information in the text to sppech program , i saved the file (to a mp3) , i uploaded it on my ipod touch and now i listen to it every night before i go to bed . ( if u want this program , just tell me and i will send u a link cuz there no way to put links it ur comments )

I suggest everyone should go to your state's DMV site, as well as other state's sites, and take their practice tests. Since the DMVs were taken over by the feds, they pretty much have to test on the same principles.

@bugzbunni314 Probably most of them. thing is, you cannot determine which will and which won't. all of them were in the manual. it's best to know them all and to know the shapes of the various types of signs. like the 5 sided sign or the 8 sided sign.

Major props to you!! Took the permit test and passed, on first try (barely though, 5 was allowed wrong, got 5 wrong)! On top of that, I downloaded that drivers ed iPhone app, and used that in conjunction with your videos as follow ups, so in that turn, I thank you!

why does it need to be such a big deal to get your license these days??? why cant they just talk to you for a few minutes then just give you your permit??? "rules of the road" is just common sence

@HawkEye4071 has always been a big deal, in my opinion. they used to hire cops to take kids out in school owned cars and teach them how to drive. then you'd get your permit through the school. it was great. now it is all about the money, just like everything else. they make it too hard, too long, too complicated. that's what governments do. they torment you. and remember, common sense ain't so common.

@matervader My mistake. I looked it up. The division pertains to the right side of the sign so for those driving on the right, it's the end of the divided highway while those coming towards the black stump it's divided road ahead. I will try to edit it. Thanks so much.
