  • Comment removed

  • Thanks I never new u use chicken breast to make chicken nuggets lol this video really helped me thanks again lol

  • Do you think you could use egg on the baked ones instead of butter? It would make is so much more healthier hey? And Who knows, maybe is would help with juiciness or tenderness as well.

  • @krs1992 probably would work

  • I made these today they were lovely, thankyou x

  • @Midnightwiccan18 Glad you enjoyed :)

  • the fried chicken tasted better it wasn't to dry and it kept the juices together. that's my opinion anyways thanks for the vid

  • @EuroHawk777 They both tasted so good to me!

  • i'm wonderng if maybe freeze them and bake them for quick dinners or lunches?

  • @therealALYS09 that's a good question. I don't know that they'd retain their crunchiness but you can try...spray it with that Pam stuff on top and on the tin foil when reheating and that may work

  • McDonalds sweet and sour sauce is the best!

  • @aohmann It was sweet and sour dip. Whenever I get Bainy nuggets, I ask for a dip anyway. He doesn't use them, but we'll invariably use them for something

  • You sure can't beat the testimonials! This is simple and yummy either way, and I'm due for a dose of chicken anyway. I see this as tomorrow's dindin.

  • @anmoose Scott didn't get the nuggets, since we ate it on a weekend. He felt gyped. We'll be having them again soon lol

  • Nice, i love learning different ways to bread chicken (with different spices and different dredges and different crusts like cornflakes or potato chips). Thanks :D

  • @fezan84 You can never go wrong with paprika!

  • Yep sleep is a problem lately. I'm drinking some chamomile tea as I type this! Have to get up before 10am. Retirement is tough. Lol

  • @jcrefasi1 I hope the tea worked!

  • The corn flour is sold by Zaterains. The box says Fish Fry on it. If you can't find it let me know an I'll be happy to send you a Louisiana care pkg.

  • @jcrefasi1 I think I've seen it! I will get a look at it saturday, thanks so much! (you are up late!)

  • Tried the baked ones for dinner tonight and the whole family liked them and gave them "yeah i would eat this again" rating.

  • @nerdfighter4 That is a GREAT rating! :)

  • Those Nuggets Look Delicious:)

  • @10NozomiRai10 Thanks!

  • Mmmmm I love chicken! Was happy to hear your mom's voice :) Thanks for the recipes.

  • @pinkbuttrfly2004 THanks :) She loves piping in with her opinion: )

  • You know I like this LOL! Going to start making Logan's instead of going out all the time. I always used just flour. And never thought of bread crumbs and or eggs!!

  • @AshleyFD26 Yes! I believe you were the one that asked me to do this over on FB, right? :)

  • @CookingAndCrafting Yea. I'm so glad you did this thank you so much. You are the shiz-niz. ;)

  • Yum ! Those look really good :) I think I will put these on my menu for next week..my little one will love them.

  • @TheChattagirl Let me know how he likes it!

  • i made this ...yehhhhh it was great ,my mother n sis loved it !!!

  • @hw1986430 awesome! Glad you enjoyed :)

  • They do look really good. I like them a little better baked as well. I made some the other night with baked eggplant & they were both tender & crispy. I minced onion & added to mayo, then just coated sliced eggplant & chicken tenders with the mayo, then tossed in breadcrumbs. I did turn them both about halfway through so both sides were nicely browned. Thanks!!

    Pam

  • @WillowBranchDesigns oh my, that sounds great!

  • orion uses 876 containers of bbq sauce when he gets nuggets

ok, that was a bit of an exaggeration... lol

    xoexo

  • @edenbainbridge LOL @ the exaggeration :)

  • Thanks for giving me ideas for dinner tomorrow.

  • @MissNaturalMystery you are so welcome!

  • Love the crunch of it all! that my fav sauce but i dip in spicy mustard and then dip in sweet sour. lol love the two together.

  • @darlynn12 You and Snark both like that one haha I love sweet sour!

  • You will throw Mcdonalds out of business :D I liked the look of the baked ones...They look more vibrant! mmmmm

  • @MissPonderosa I agree with you! They did look nice :)

  • awesome. my kiddies love nuggets. thanks for sharing this :) yummm nom nom nom i love chicken nuggets myself

  • @y3rlo You're welcome!

  • LOL Love mom piping in! I agree the fried looked better but I would do them in the oven. Hugs girl!

  • @imperceptibleme haha mom loves giving her opinion ;)

  • I made these the other night in a shallow fry pan cause I didn't want to put the oven on. I used egg and crumbs, onion and garlic powder, paprike and s&p. They were really good. I wish I had sweet/sour sauce for them. I love that! Great minds think alike!

  • @wildheart5 sounds great!!

  • My Boogers would love this with some home made Fries... YUM!!!! I'm making both styles this weekend.

  • @MzLalaJuarez Ahh I was planning a fries recipe to go with this but it didn't work out. Hope to do that this weekend

  • that looked so easy to make, I will make these once I am all healed up.

    :-)

  • @mrsbowlingballout Hope your healing speeds up a little. Seems like you've been on the outs for a long time already!

  • i wished i preferred baked over frying :( ...i just like the crunchy texture ;-)...i do like shake n bake...

  • @renee7aw You'd be surprised, if you spray it with Pam, it can get crunchy!

  • Those look good and easy! I love dipping mine in honey :D

  • @Texa41 Honey is AWESOME! I always get some for the KFC biscuits

  • The great thing about doing these at home verses getting store bought...you can add whatever seasoning you like & control the sodium. Yours looked delicious. : )

  • @capergirl1976 exactly! I think that is why Ashley suggested this--a healthier option for her boy

  • We use seasoned corn flour to fry chicken and fish down here in the swamp. I like to mix a little SR white flour to the corn flour. Makes great onion rings too! These puppies look good! PS I had my money on the fried

    TKS /\../\ -¥-

  • @jcrefasi1 Seasoned corn flour! I will see if they have it here.

  • I was rooting for the fried nuggets to win the taste test!

  • @yoyomax12 HAHAHA I was thinking it would win the taste test too, but I think it was just a matter of the spices

  • im a vegitarian but i just love your vids

  • @TheJamieCook Thanks :) I am hoping to make a vegetarian recipe soon (per request)

  • may i suggest you try adding cornflakes, a bit of butter and some garlic to your bread before crumbing it for something like this? the cereal adds crunch, the butter makes it more golden, prevents burning and helps the mix stick better and the garlic? well who doesnt love garlic? plus it's good for you! ;)

just a suggestion, but i really hope you try it! :)

  • @oxRACH333Lxo

Panko rocks too instead of breadcrumbs thats what i use and I make homemade chicken nuggets regularly

  • @oxRACH333Lxo All great suggestions!

  • i'll have mine fried :P my fave dipping sauce from mcds is the hot mustard. yumyum wish they bottled it.

  • @snarkdetriomphe hmm I wonder if thee is a clone recipe for hot mustard sauce? Here we make it with dry mustard and shoyu, but I doubt that is how McD's do it

  • OK well now I have to get something to eat. These made me so hungry and they look much better then Mickey D's.

A keeper vid for sure. Thanks so much!

  • @Ultimatecruegirl We've had a LOT of chicken this week lol. I may have to do something with beef soon

  • @CookingAndCrafting Beef have you done the shredded beef in the crock pot with liptons onion soup mix yet? Man that stuff is just amazingly awesome. One of my favorites and easy peasy.

  • Guess what I'm havin for dinner tonight...lol Just bought a huge bag of chicken tenders at Costco last week I'll do it the lazy way though I'll shake and bake then love using the pork SnB on chicken giving it a little kick with putting some chayanne pepper in the SnB bag...makin a little salad and callin it dinner! lol

  • @Carballoca sounds great!

  • They look awesome! Think I'll try the baked ones this weekend. Maccy D's sweet and sour is the best dipping sauce ever!! Speaking of McDonalds, have you ever tried making your own big mac sauce? I've seen quite a few recipes for it on YouTube. Xxx

  • @venoose1 Let me know if you like them!

I will have to look at that big mac sauce recipe!

  • Great recipe!

I love it when you get your family's opinion too. Your mom is a cool lady, but she would have to be to have a daughter like you.

You always cook in a very sanitary manner and I don't understand people's need to be hypercritical. Although if people stopped leaving dumb comments on YouTube, the world as we know it would probably stop spinning.

  • @jayneleigh10 Yeah, kinda tiredof the hypercriticals. It's almost as though they can't muster up a "yum!" and have to instead talk about cross contamination (rolling eyes)

  • hey kid

  • yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • @snarkdetriomphe It was!!!

    (hey)

  • : )

  • @islandGAL7 Thanks for watching

  • I will have to make those.

  • @timido66 They are pretty nummy!

  • hahaa, i m glad thr was sm more left to taken in to photographs at the end !!!! hehee im so hungry now n its midnight in my country,hv to wait till morning to make these...probably i hv to fry ...

  • @hw1986430 I know, I almost forgot! My brother watched this video and said, "I don't remember chicken nuggets!" hahaha I made these on the weekend when he was out with his buddies

  • Those are definitely my guilty pleasure! Just love them! Thanks for sharing

  • @EasyRecipesWithTwist Thanks :)

  • i can tell that you cook a lot becuz your baking sheet is black!!lol...i use a lot of foil also!!lol. all my stuff is black!!!

  • @rozozzy Naw, that is the color of that baking sheet. If you'll look close, you'll see where the surface is scratched off in many places and you can see the steel underneath it

  • YUM. I wish I had chicken breasts right now to try this.

  • @dinotoria haha Go get some!

  • @CookingAndCrafting We're moving this weekend, so we're trying to use up as much food as we can so we don't have to transport as much. lol. I'll be trying these next week though for sure.

  • @dinotoria UGH!! Good luck on that move. I tell you what, I moved way too many times in my lifetime. Once I bought this house, when I moved in the last box--I said "thank God I am NEVER moving again!" I do not envy you your weekend

  • @CookingAndCrafting haha. thanks! i'm not dreading it too bad. once i'm moving stuff i'll hate it, but we don't have to be out of this place until the end of the month, so we're doing most of it this weekend, but can slowly get the rest over the next couple of weeks.

this is my 9th move since 2007. i'm hoping to stay in the new place for a couple of years at least. once we buy a house though i have no intention of moving ever again either. lol.

  • Chicken is my FAVE!! I have baked the whole tenders like that the oven before. They are YUMMINESS!!!

  • @dreamer72fem Yep, I have done them with the whole tenders too. The lady that requested them wanted kid sized stuff. Perfect! I didn't want to bread and fry them to make them look like Mickey Dees though. These were better!

  • You should be super careful with cross contamination.

  • @DaniCaliLove Why would I do that? I love giving my family salmonella at every turn!

  • @CookingAndCrafting LMAO! Perfect just perfect!

  • mmm mmm goooddd (:

  • @Braceletsandmore Thank you :)

  • First lol I'm new to your videos and I really like them! I especially love the cupcakes! Keep up the good work =)

  • @littlehammer05 Thank you :)
