He didn't have to shift. This model has the new VTEC that covers the entire RPM range. Has enough power to take off from 12th gear. Obviously this car is great on gas. It fills itself up as you go. The "ERROR 1" message is because no speedometer can read that fast of a speed. That one light up there...yeah you may wanna check that.....BUCKLE UP.

error 1 its an ecu problem. take that shit to a dealer asap. since the civic is So electronic nowadays u dont wanna risk fuckin anything else up
