Jet Li's movies are better in terms of rewatch value. Bruce Lee's movies follow the same format basically, pretty much like Steven Seagal's: the 1st one is interesting, so is the 2nd one, even the 3d one is okay..but from the 4th movie onward his movies take a boring turn. Jet Li is always interesting to watch, Bruce Lee is definitely the better fighter, but Jet Li wins in terms of entertainment. Bruce Lee was a great MA but he, just like Elvis who was a great singer, couldn't really act.

What a battle it would have been...EPIC!!!!! But in the end I think Bruce still takes it because he was always more versatile and innovative. Bruce revolutionized Martial Arts and adopted many fighting styles into one. Jet Li, Jackie Chan or Tony Ja are only copies of an original. Modern, very skilled and tighter copies, but copies all the same. Even the modern punching bags Li, Chan and Ja uses (the bad guys) are better because of Bruce Lee.

Lee's exaggerated battle-cries and when he takes the two guys by the collar, spinning them, and smacking others with them, it's hard not to appreciate the spirit of fun versus maybe the more "serious" tone of Jet's version. Both have a strong sense of pride in Chinese nationalism and that is were the similarity ends so you cant say one is best over the other. Differnet technology, fight choreography and martial arts styles. I have studied JKD and will cast my vote with Bruce just based on the fact he harnesed and chreated his style of Kung Fu. Bruce Lee will always be the best. Jet Li is also an amazing dedicated martial artists. I was being as fair as possible when watching this. Bruce Lee was way, way, way ahead of his time and developed more than anyone else. He didn't have the movie magic and the invisible ropes that Jet Li uses in most of his movies. The way you see people flying on top of buildings and over things is Asian superhero stuff. Very exciting still though. I don't believe Bruce would have ever gave into that.

Basing fighting off of movies is utter stupidity. In terms of fighting style Bruce Lee would win in my opinion because his fighting style is the way of the intercepting fist. It is a hybrid fighting style that adapts to every situation so there is minimum movement and max, fluid power.
