Im from wichita and it sucks and im over living there. After being places like KC or Cali or hell, anywhere else, it makes you wanna get out of wichita. BADLY.

There is nothing to do here but go to restaurants. Tons of restaurants, all chain or franchises, like PF Changs, Granite City, etc. Very reasonable housing prices. Downtown was revitalized ten years go so is relatively safe and has night life activity.

i'm thinking of moving to wichita, kansas from tucson, arizona. I don't know what to expect there.

ahh you should. I love wichita. it's a great, safe, affordable place to live, and Old Town is very cool. (if you're planning on living close to downtown.) although i can agree that the river isn't that great. the riverfest is awesome though!
