  • I hate Target.

  • not just any mug review, it's a tactical mug review!

  • Nutnfancy beats Billy Mays (God rest his soul!) in advertising! Lol

  • Love the thumbnail!

  • @videosbythe5 Hahaha...I think you are the first person who noticed.. He loves those Billy Bob teeth. :D -- Veri

  • Only nutnfancy can talk about mugs for 7mins haha

  • Can you cook soup in any of these?over a fire though, without melting?

  • @Kylef7735 well, what would be good and light for that?steel cantine maybe?

  • @videosbythe5 Steel isnt light, but its better than nothing, nutn has a titanium 1 quart pot that a friend of him gave him, he cooks in it over his little stove thingy.

  • @Kylef7735 okay, thanks

  • Not DuraCoated in Coyote Tan, whats the deal man, just messing with ya. Haha.

  • but with a metal cup you can heat up liquids

  • Oh, one more thing. Don't forget the magical blue enamel Walmart camp mug. It weighs nut'n - no offense Nut'n, and holds 18 oz's of hot, steamy brew or chow. The lip and handle stay cool and best of all..... you CAN duracoat it! Booooyaaaah!!!

  • That's what I'm talkin' about! This is the real deal when it comes to high value items. Anyone can obtain one of these. It's simple, smart, effective, inexpensive and useful. My kind of stuff... I'm gettin one, or two, or three... Good goin' Fancy!

  • I spilled water on myself when I heard $1.50

  • plastic releases too much exoestrogens better not use it

  • Sorry, Nut. I wouldn't use plastic for hot drinks.

  • WTF? It's a mug!!!

~8 minutes on the subject, how the hell does he do it?

  • Mr. Fancy seems like he had several "cups o' joe" before the making of this video.

  • Thanks so much for the video. I just picked up two of the shake cups from walmart on my way out to the woods with my wife. We forgot our cups and I remembered this video. I swung into the closest walmart and there they were: $1.97. The best part is she loved it! I love it too. Exact measurements for all my hot chocolate and cooking needs. Thanks again. Arson.

  • Another useful review. The shake & pour mug is a fantastic idea for a lightweight EDC kit. I plan to buy at least two! I am always looking for ways to lighten my load, especially now since I will be a bus rider (finally moved somewhere that makes it easier to do!). I also bought some of the Nalgene 32 oz. Cantenes--collapsable and less bulky that a hard Nalgene bottle to carry.

  • 2:25 LOL

  • 2:25

  • Just received the following info from Walmart regarding the Mainstays mug:

"It is PCTg - a type of PETE as used in filled water bottles that are sold at the store. It is BPA free and stain resistant."

  • @FiestaIsland Awesome info, thanks for checking that out, Fiesta! -- Veri

  • What do you have in your 72-hour bug out bag? I've been reviewing videos, web sites, even wikipedia and consolidating the best ideas. Some people take stuff that won't really help in a 3-day period.. like a gun cleaning kit. Who is going to shoot that much in a 3-day period? Anyway, what is your b-o-b stocked with?

  • @lonetreetechy Go watch nutnfancys USK, thats basically his bob, kinda.

  • On my way to pick a few up. No more heavy mug! Thank you

  • Great review I will have to pass this info on to by scout troop!

  • TNP logo mugs coming soon!??

  • Well done. Every item warrants consideration - even the fun ones.

  • how hey you have friends on the army or who the hell you can have does weapons

  • @lordjor82 Here in the great land of america, we speak and type proper english. And we can own guns without being anything special.

  • awsum..

  • These are now $1.99 at Eddie Bauer!

  • First thing I thought of when I opened this video was BPA. Looks like I'm not the only one. I'm sticking to BPA free aluminum for the time being.

  • but...but.... you forgot to compare the mugs to the glock 17...... this cant really be a nutnfancy video...

  • 2:30 Autstanding mug -.- LMAO XD

  • Can not find in walmart in NC the Shelby ,Gastonia or Mt holly area.

  • @nutnfancy no offense but how is a extra cup of water in your bag just to heavy 0:34

  • @jhawley1995 excuse me 4:34

  • Funny stuff..........Nutn, I and many of my friends are long time fans. This will show you how closely we listen to your words. In your cup review you call the Wally World cup the Mainstays Shakes Shit cup. This might be the off camera name slipped through to the YouTube World. I laughed when I heard it. I had to rewind a few times to 6:52 or so in the playback time. Great review as always. Your efforts are much appreciated.

  • lol love your videos. mugs. lol nice

  • I will bet that you were home schooled.

  • mugs? haha

  • 10 bucks says he'll duracoat his mug. Any takers?

  • @practicalwhacktical Totally, dude. I'm figuring around Oct '10 we'll see "Coffee Mug -- The Duracoat Experience."

    It'll be 38:55. :)

  • Deal Alert! -- Great Vid as always - walking through the mall last night and found the Stanley Camp Cup at Eddie Bauer on clearance for $3.99 - picked up two for car camping. Also listed on the EB web site.

    Thanks!

  • use some H.V.A.C. ARMOR FLEX for insulation

  • I was wondering if you know about the bisphenol-A (BPA) issues with polycarbonate. I think polycarbonate(lexan) is an amazing material, but there is evidence that there can be some serious long-term health risks associated with consuming food and beverages from polycarbonate. There are reports claiming that BPA can leech out of the plastic into the contents of the container and eventually lead to some nasty health conditions. Jury's still out on it. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.

  • ever heard of blender bottle?

  • hardcore "serious mug" review :)

  • Dude that's an ugly mug in that thumbnail picture.

  • @LongRangeRifle ya that thumbnail with the mug and a weird looking face lol

  • @gasdorf You mean a that thumbnail with a weird looking mug and an outdoor cup. :p

  • Looking at the thumbnail I immediately thought "Ernest reviews on TNP"! Great vid.

  • I get a kick out of getting your CopyCats to admit that he/she watches Nutnfancy. But just like in UFC... they always Tap out.

  • great thumbnail nutn xD

  • a mug is one my most important things to bring while camping. I hate to stir anything, That is the shake cup i also bring. Coffee cream coke whiskey shaken not stirred-thanks nutn

  • this is not a whole 40mins SWC

  • WALL-MART...Got to love NUTN. its great that he has no problem getting behind something a cost effectice as this cup from

WAL-MART. Thanks for being you NUTN.

  • He doesnt care if people laugh... I think thats what makes this guy a good gear reviewer

  • Comment removed

  • The Blue Solstice 32oz BPA free drinking bottle with nozzle for $6.99 at Bed,Bath and Beyond is what I plan to get. The problem with heated water in regular plastic is the chemicals the plastic gives off that you drink. Another great option.

  • nutnfancy - do you have any concerns that the Mainstays mix cup is not BPA free? Just wondering. Keep up the great work! -Steg

  • @mattstegman Nope I don't. For the short time you'd be using it I think that wouldn't matter. For a water bottle that I'd have water in for weeks I would.

  • @nutnfancy Great! Thanks.

  • The photo for the video looks like nutn is reliving his "Nutnfancy don't know hell" video.

  • @AgentMcgeek I saw that too!

  • @MadtactiX I cannot look at it anymore, it makes me laugh EVERY time! -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy I'm in tears laughing at it... Oh wow

  • @MadtactiX

review on hot coco to put in that mug ...maybe a break down in coco tactics .....hot chocolate systems

  • @AgentMcgeek He changed it last night while we were on the phone, and I almost choked I laughed so hard. I still laugh every time I see it. Its horrible! :D -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy Love it -Nutn actual

  • @AgentMcgeek LMAO yea it does...

  • gatorade mix also helps mask the taste of iodine

  • I've been so busy for the last 2 months, and have alot of vids to catch up on! (Thanks for the hard work Nutn/Veri) I was starting to get nutnfancy withdrawls. Its so funny when I'm out in my everyday life and ask people about Nutn and no-one knows who I'm talking about; But I recommend to everyone and all have became subscribers!

  • @CowboyCory1 Thanks for the awesome support, Cowboy!! -- Veri

  • @CowboyCory1 " I bet you didn't see this review coming though, WwwwTCHHH!. A review on mugs!? You betcha! Don't Laugh..." I was totally laughing, then quickly toungue in cheek.

  • @CowboyCory1 I envision TNPrs going what the heck...mugs?! I do like having a a sense of unpredictability too ;-) ...let's see the copycat channels do their mug reviews now.

  • At 6.57 you said the "S" word hahahahahah that is great lol just giving you a hard time. I really dig your mugs bro... nice video.

  • the mainstays cup: clear silicone down in the channel of the cap applied carefully...let it dry and you have a seal. the same thing could probably be done with the cap...

Or, if you;re carrying it with you with something already IN it before you get there...some cellophane over the top then put the lid on...

  • Hey Nutn, Eddie Bauer now has these on clearance for $ 3.99 + shipping.

  • @shamrox311 Wow, great deal.

  • TNP just rocks!

  • u know the thing i like about Nutnfancy most is that He trusts his gear and in returns the favor by reviewing it and recommending great things to others thru videos! Nutn' FTW!

  • @nuckdukem1290 Thanks dude. I do try. The quickest and most thorough way I can answer questions and get the info out there is the vid for sure. My penchant for a perfect video product sometimes hog ties me; I just don't like putting half-baked vids out there and I don't care about numbers (except view numbers...that's good feedback for me). And I'm talking more about the quality of information AND an interestingh presentation. It's hard to get in the groove sometimes.

  • Awesome. Nutn could make a toilet brush review 8 minutes long and totally cool.

  • Heh, i bought the green Stanley cup a few weeks ago for camping in a tent for a week and it worked great. And now i see nutnfancy doing a video about the same cup, i am amazed :)

  • Riddick used one as a deadly weapon....not this one of course. ;-)

  • Been trying to work out if Nutnfancy is LDS, seeing as he seems to live in Utah and spent some of his early years there, doesn't cuss, etc. No sign of any non-Word of Wisdom compliant beverages in those cups, so we're still in the dark. "Cup of Joe".... hmmm, I'm thinking cup of hot chocolate is more like it.

  • Duct tape wrap? Come on now , wrap it in para cord. Hey did I see a made in USA on the label? They just sold me some if so.

  • "...chances are, you're gonna ditch it on the trail somewhere."

I started thinking almost immediately that he might have actually ditched a 3-4 oz. cup that he was carrying in his 87+ lb. backpack one time. lol

  • @Nurple17

"My backpack is sooo heavy...it must be that damn insulated cup. (Opens up backpack full of 5 lb each stuff to get to the "root" of his problem and throws it at a tree) "MUCH BETTER!"

  • @Nurple17 hahaha!

  • hey we all need to drink right?

  • hey, we all need to drink right?

  • don't know of anyone who can make a review on cups as enjoyable as you.lol. keep on on post'in

  • not enough for me xD

  • This video is the BEST example why I love Nutnfancy's videos. He doesn't let brand names dictate his reviews! If he were a gear elitist, he wouldn't be caught dead with Walmart stuff in his camping gear. He calls it as it is without prejudice. That's why I trust his opinions.

  • I got mine!

  • You guys gotta turn on the CC Audio transcription feature. Hilarious!

  • I remember the video when you said you got it at target and the next time I was there I was looking everywhere for it...LOL... I could not find it anywhere... Now I know why. LOL... Thanks for clearing that up. Cool videos man.

  • no jimping??

My bad; not needed it has a nice thumbrest!

    Informative as alway thanks Nutn.!

  • hey nutn will you do fishing tutorials ...

  • great review found a larger version at wally world for $9 here is there wally part number 000992350

  • not to be a nag or anything but i think mabe it would be a cool idea if you culd list the items your show in your videos that show more then one thing in them like this one so that we can easly accese the information for purchessing them off the internet or retail stores. i know your presssed for time with other obligations but its just a small thought that would add to your quality of help which may i add is one of the highest iv ever seen =D

  • @kiba555 Why does he need to list them? He clearly told you the manufacture, model, and location of purchase on all three mugs. If you need it written down perhaps you should reach for a pen and paper and do it yourself.

  • 2.4oz? Way to heavy to be backpacking with!

  • I use a double wall plastic mug /w sip lid, wt 4.5 oz, with the handle cut off. What do I need a handle for if the mug is insulated??? And it fits better in my pot & with my pop can stove. Its only 12oz which for me is the perfect size for coffee/tea/hot chocolate or hot apple cider! mmm

  • You got to be jokeing.....mugs?

  • i use a hollow Skull

  • @Dookiii haha nice

  • I think I saw a panhandler use that exact cup in the NYC subways...Hardcore

  • Great presentation! I really enjoyed the action sounds.

  • 6:56 Uhhh? Shit cup?

  • @xXBallistic82Xx Yeah that is what it sounded like to me. Maybe it was coming out as a combination of shake and mix, shix....sounded like sh!@ though.

  • You should do reviews on watches and compass's.

  • AN 8 MINUTE REVIEW OF A MUG.

HOW DOES HE FUCKING DO IT.

  • @skylerbob8 lol but i love it

  • @skylerbob8 born salesman

  • why not get a jet boil?stove and mug

  • My interest is peaked on the lite weight option at the end.

  • great vid diggin those mugs

  • I love how varied the reviews are, keep it up!

  • i compleatly agree with you haveing a good mug makes your outdore expearence so much better. ive gone on survival missions with ant without a mug ,and it feils so good to have a nice hot drink after being out in the cold.great review keep uo the awsome work.

  • awesome, thanks!

  • Mugs? wtf, get off the happy hashish

Nutn we really need to get back to handguns

  • very informative, thanks dude!

  • Great vid Nutn and Veri! But....but.....you haven't DuraCoated them Coyote Brown yet!!!! (just kidding, lol) Keep up the great work!

  • @MThrow Key word "yet"! ;) -- Veri

  • hahahahahaha.. Mug... Next Review will be on "Tactical Under Pants"

  • Wtf is the point. in the end they all do the same fucking thing!

  • @redalert139 Well that just demonstrates your total ignorance.

  • @redalert139 You can say the same thing about the Hindenburg vs the Goodyear blimp. Both do the same thing just one does it way better. When you are hiking or doing rucksack marches for miles believe me you are going to hate every unnecessary ounch of weight you packed. Even something as basic as a canteen for holding water can have a Mil-Spec attached to it where guys in lab coats did all sorts of tests to find whats best for rugged use.

  • A review on mugs??? F**kin Awesome!!!

  • Everytime you say, "You betcha!" it reminds me of Sarah Palin.

  • handy stuff is handy. Keep it up Nutn

  • Nutnfancy, great video, I love mine. You and Veri make a great team, keep them rolling.

  • -- Good practical stuff! Thanks!

  • 7:20 You could actually build an insulator while you are at your camp. Just use an article of clothing you aren't using at the time or something like that. Then you wouldn't be carrying any extra weight to your destination-more firepower, same amount of mobility. Great video.

  • Almost 5000 views. Awsome. Not surprising. Nutnfancy is THE information source. Thanks for the video and tips. Good info...AS ALWAYS!

  • Charcoal/sut/bugs add flavor! Only reason I care for a lid is when it have it filled and moving around.

  • The Tactical Mug, essential to any backpacking setup.

  • Just wasted almost 10 mins of my life

  • Again, you are on some reviewing roll. Can't wait to see what is next.

  • I use my bare hands as a coffee cup.

  • @djbro16 You and Chuck Norris -- Veri

  • @djbro16 And I use my cock as a baseball bat.

  • @gasdorf Super white cock! Thank you. lol

  • 15.00 dollars Stanley 2 in 1 cup Mug and Bowl on Amazon

  • @mrbunnylamakins This is 3.99 on clearance now at Eddie Bauer!! You can buy via their website, but I went into the store today and got 4 of these! no shipping charges if you go into the physical store! Its a steal!

  • @branfrog Wow Awesome that is where I bought my poncho with grommets from and some other items. I notice also prices at Eddie Bauer sale list are regular prices at Amazon also on other equipment. Thanks for the heads up!!!

  • THIS GUY KEEPS MAKIN ME SPEND MONEY....DAMN

  • Absolutely amazing. Nutn could review a five day old donut and make it interesting and relevant.

  • Nut'n, I like the recent couple videos, stuff that people wouldn't "expect" to see from you. Wrist accessories, camping mugs, keep 'em coming. Keeps the project fresh dude, rock on!

  • Another great vid, nutn.

Personally, I prefer metal mugs in general, titanium in particular. You can boil water directly, and it aint going to melt. Sure, I might ding it up a bit, but in the long run, it will out-last any plasto-mug on the market.

    Just my $.02.

  • "don't laugh"

    too late

  • I never thought I would watch a 8 minute video on mugs......lol keep up the good work :D

  • I love Nutn's reviews on camping gear - even items as simple as plastic mugs. Camping shops are expensive and it's great to have an opinion you can trust.

  • i think you are getting bored now doing mugs?

  • @GhostStan Don't think! Just wait.. ;) -- Veri

  • Hey nutn...you could stuff the cup with chocolate and then it would serve two jobs in one.You could call it "Chocolate Armor". just a thought.lol
