Sleep apnea for many means a combination of procedures to get optimum results, depending on what is causing the obstruction. Mandibular Advancement is the most successful procedure for obvious reasons, moving top and bottom jaw forward significantly opens the airway regardless of what was the main blocker in first place.
Makes sense though to start off with least minimal procedure as depending on what your blockage is it way be the one stop cure or a potential improvement. CPAP is not

DID NOT WORK for me! $3,000.00 and it hurt! Using CPAP now and it works wonderfully!
