  • This might make the tissue stop vibrating and making noise, but if it doesn't keep it from contacting the back of your throat, then it's not going to help with sleep apnea.

  • anyone who wants to know more about snoring and sleep disorders may also find the book "Sleep Disorders for Dummies" useful. it explains how to improve your sleep habits, manage stress, find relief from your symptoms etc

  • tolerated well by most people. Respect for those who can tolerate it, I personally found it was aweful and I had the best one you could get!

  • Sleep apnea for many means a combination of procedures to get optimum results, depending on what is causing the obstruction. Mandibular Advancement is the most successful procedure for obvious reasons, moving top and bottom jaw forward significantly opens the airway regardless of what was the main blocker in first place.

    Makes sense though to start off with least minimal procedure as depending on what your blockage is it way be the one stop cure or a potential improvement. CPAP is not

  • DID NOT WORK for me! $3,000.00 and it hurt! Using CPAP now and it works wonderfully!
