i love how some IDIOTS out there think this is fake because believe me its far from fake... All u need is a 'USB powered 4.3" screen' which u place behind the LCD screen of your MAC, you wipe off the white dye on the inside of the apple logo so it becomes see through and u solder the correct wires to the usb powerpoints on your motherboard. Then screw your MAC back together, start your machine, go to display preferences and play a video through your secondary display output and see for yourself!

If you remove the back layer of the an LCD, you only see its board. The actual light is on the front. He probably green screened it. You can green screen with more than just the color green.

This is a fake video made with green screen. How can you even believe this?

a) It's not possible to view the screen this clear from the back. There is the backlight and other things behind the panel. That's what makes the standard Apple logo white.

b) There's no room to fit another screen behind the main screen in this model. Unlike the Blackbook mod from another video.

c) When the guy presses the volume key, you'd expect to see it backwards from this view. It was the right way round.

There've been mods to fit a 4 inch USB DisplayLink LCD behind the real panel. If clear plastic logo (about 3mm thick) is removed, then I belive it's quite possible.

@shazandaldo Actually it's not. Greenscreen would be a great method to actually do this in a video. I agree with you there, but this isn't a fake video. You are correct in that there is no room to add a secondary screen behind the model. However this is a much smaller and therefore more flat screen. Similar to the screens used in PSP's.

It's called a secondary display mod. Where a second screen is mounted into the laptop behind the apple logo. Look it up and read about it, it is true.

reres, its a mini usb display behind the logo. you soder it to the usb data and power, 4 wires total.......not hard. it acts as a 2nd display. i will post a tut when i do mine......waiting on the lcd......

No, what he did was he took a small probably OLED screen and put it behind the apple logo. He then soldered the screen to the VGA header and it acts like a secondary monitor. It's not fake.
