  • Wow.... sounds great, but aside from that. Quite the intro... you definitely have the right personality and sensitivity for folk music. I'm sure Townes would give you daps on this.

  • Thanks from all us stranger-than-you Townes fans. Katie Bell's Dad is more like a brother to me than anything else. (we've had similar experiences with certain aspects of the darker side of things) He is so near and dear to me, even thoI never met him. (you need never to have met Townes to know him) Katie and Will and John are near and dear to Townes' fans because they're still walkin around on the earth while Dad hovers above. Thanks for doing this for her. I'm sure she loves it. You're Great!

  • I always felt relaly insecure and weird about feeling as though I knew Townes. But then I met more Townes fans, and now I'm open about it and no longer insecure. :) Thank you so much for what you said. And yes, hopefully Townes's kids are used to us! :P

  • I love this so much! thank you, you are so sweet :)

I think of all the townes fans i have talked too and such, you are the one id like to meet the most!

    youre awesome

  • That's so kind of you to say that!! Thank you so much :)

  • This song is very encouraging and sweet. It is also pleasant to just sit and listen to it (I listened to it about 3 times now).

I like how the end comes back to the beginning to remind me of how the journey started. Nice job. :)

  • Thank you so much! :)

  • Aww, this is beautiful!

  • Thank you so much for thinking so (and for taking the time to say it!).

  • Hey great job, think Katie Belle and Townes would be proud! Keep writing and carry on the flame of good music my friend.

  • Thank you so much! That means a lot to me.

  • From one of the strange Townes fans out here and on the aboutTownes list I relate to the strangeness! The first strange thing I noticed was that you seem to be using two capos! Very strange! It works though and you are the first person I've ever seen do that. Makes me wanna try it! What on earth gave you that idea anyway? All that aside, I share your happy birthday wishes to Katie Belle... she was just toddling around when I met her. Mostly hangin' out with Sheri Frushay.

    Rolland

  • Thanks, Rolland. :) One upside-down capo, and one capo to move the key "up". I thought I invented such mechanics, but guess who else does it? Steve Earle, of all people! I swear I did it before I ever saw him do it, tho. He stole it from me, obviously. :) Tho I think he stole it from me before I was ever playing!

  • Well done.

  • Hey, thanks my friend. :)
