  • Wow, looks similar to Henrix' sound. U're great!

  • black SG - BEAUTY!

  • awesome.

  • Tooooooone! Great!

  • SMASHHHHHHHHHH-S-OUNDDDDDDDDDDDDDD-EXAITINGGGGGGGGGG.

  • @mirandas57 thanks man!

  • Great playing.

  • Very well done....great tone...I've always liked the SG.

  • Oh Jason, if I could find a Genie Lamp and ask to play like you! Fantastic as always, Happy New Year my friend. How's the new red Blues Jr working btw.

  • Nice playing and tone, love it :)

  • Great piece Jason! Can you lend me some of all that rock/blues you hold galore in your hands? Love the sound of the HB's and Dr.Z amp too (even if it gets here only through and net/ocean/my humble pc speakers it definitively sounds full and warm). Post more, pal! ciao

  • Great playing as always Jason! Nice tone. Great guitar! The guitar I started on was an SG. Still love 'em although I'm a big guy and the Les Paul is just a bit better of a fit for me but I still love to play SG's. But no matter what I play I always find myself coming right back to a Les Paul. Oh BTW, I just picked up a Wampler Hot Wired - LOVE it! I redid my board and added that and an Analogman KOT. I'm in tone heaven! :D

  • Always love your playing! Great solo.

Personally, I enjoy your tele/strat sounds for blues and rock. SG sounds a little thin to me.

Still love the vid though. Keep 'em coming.

  • Sounds great Jason, classic SG rock tones and superb playing.

Great as a change from the Telecasters, but ultimately maybe not as versatile.......

    all the best Steve

  • Wow Jason its indifferent which guitar.

We can give you a Squier, a Epiphone a Fender a Gibson and im sure a wooden board with 6 Strings and you play so incredible!

You are the proof, not the Guitar is important but the fingers .

Thank you for your effort to make these channel!

  • Hobbsolicious......

  • Sitting in a suit after a playing a funeral gig, headbanging to an SG playing blues. Life's good.

  • Are you following the cord changes or chaging from minor and major? It Sounds amazing!

  • Great playing. Standard tuning? I've been using D'Addario 11's on my LP & Strat. but kept my MM JP-6 with the 10's that came with it. My arthritis in my hands is pretty bad and I still bend the heck out of the 11's but I just ordered a couple of sets of 10's to see if that takes some of the pain away w/o the tone suffering too much. I keep my Martin HD-28 with the Coated Martin's it came with, but I don't do too much bending with that one. I had an SG Std. but sent it back, too light for me.

  • rock it hobbs

  • @justabiker1 lol......cheers!

  • @jashobbsie awesome playin cuz, wicked tone! never thought i'd EVER see u with an SG after all those strats and tele's you've been collectin lol

  • @MegaMetalhead1992 yeah me too Steven....I really taking a liking to the SG's....I have it strung with 12's and it just smokes of tone....lol Thanks Cuz! I'm still a fender man at heart!

  • @jashobbsie i must say though, that's one heck of a guitar you have though, and i'm really surprised by how heavy yur tone is, awesome sound out of'er

  • The bigger strings sound just wonderful, Ive always loved an sg , will you stay with big strings or maybe change your others to bigger strings. I love the sound but , Im a bit of a wimp when it comes to much bending. Good stuff man , have a happy new year. Cheers

  • @1goodguitar thanks man. yeah, I'm gonns keep the 12's on the guitar...there's something about the neck and scale length that makes it easier to play with 12's....the guitar sounds huge with 12's so i'm not gonna change a good thing...lol happy new year too man! cheers!

  • Hey! nice guitar, great sound and cool licks, keep rockin' ,take care. Robert.

  • Great playing !! The guitar is awesome! Sounds awesome but I bet it´s because of your fingers ;)

  • I like pie .

  • @evhfrankie I respect your consistent commentary supporting this opinion of pie's goodness. \m/
