A few? years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. Yeah, I was hoping that if the staff hadn't selected Rich Fields, that Randy West or Burton Richardson would be the choice for the Tpir's permanent announcer not that I am offending Rich. He's doing a excellent job announcing on the show but he's not as good as either Johnny Olsen or Rod roddy was, I will admit that.

i agree 100%. Randy had that natural "oomph" to his voice that Rod Roddy had. I think Rich is doing great, but he sounds too forced.
