If you sell a CD or DVD, Kunaki is great for packaging and duplication.
Here's a tip to get more from Kunaki...
I always have Kunaki ship directly to me. That way I can include bonus CD/DVD content in with every order I sent to a customer. I always send a couple bonus items that are related in some way to the original item purchased. I have lots of upsells on CD and DVD which makes this super easy. It's also extremely powerful and effective. People love getting more than they ordered!
The Lyra is a bowed instrument unlike the hurdy gurdy. The hurdy gurdy is traditionally believed to be a development of the western fiddle (sometimes also refered to as lira/lyra). So while it is fair to say they have the same origins, it is wrong to draw an equation between the two.
at the risk of sounding like a jerk, you should do your homework before correcting someone. in russia the instrument is known as the kolesnaya lyra. so no, i'm quite correct in drawing an equation between the two because they are, in fact, the same.
I don't know what Kolesnaya means, but I suppose it's the in the same line as in scandinavian for example - "drejelire" = "turning lira" indicating that the instrument is played by the wheel, not by a bow. Again, the Lyra is originally a bowed instrument with origins in Byzantinium. The hurdy gurdy was developed in the middle ages from the Organistrum, and had a clear distinguishment from the lyra and fiddle. Both instruments are mentioned in written and graphic sources from the middle ages.
Obviously the Russians have never heard of a "bridge" when it comes to hurdy gurdy songs.
Sounds good...but the same melody over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and again without a chorus and a bridge makes the eob uncomfortable.....
hey...
didn't you play at my getting out party?
They said you really cranked, and they weren't kidding!
first heard this some months ago - now that i've heard it again i realize i've been carting it around in my head ever since. compliments to you and your fabulous back-up band.

That's really cool. Can you change what key the hurdy gurdy's in? I noticed there are tuners on the right side. How much does one of those cost?
