Even though I like their old stuff, it sounds a bit generic but the new album is a huge difference. Honestly, if you like this band even a little bit, check out the new album ESOTERIC. It's much more progressive and is a lot better and more unique than their old sound.

Notice that all Finnish bands have very similiar sound. And other areas such as Sweden also sound similar. COB, Isomonium, Raintime =Finland. Sweden = At the Gates, In Flames, Dark Tranquility. America= Black Dahlia Murder, The Absence, Darkest Hour. Seriously each region has its own sound. So really everyone is just copying everyone. BUT this band stomps COB.

Ye when they released are you dead yet i bored frking much itough it was good old powerfull playing but in living dead beat singer sounded boring and the song was so dark and nothing more of melodic like olddays so i bored for COB even more when i listened blooddrunk,so i started to listen many other bands and now in my fav lsit i have almost 1k of my favorite bands all of metal category.. well my own decision .. I know but they used it as break as an arrayment( donnu is this word exist XD).The guys of Skyfire used it as part of the melody,not lapses of 3 seconds. For example searh something of Catamenia,they use blastbeat as the main rhythm of the songs.
