I can assure you that the industry is growing in the state by leaps and bounds. 2 years ago we had 60 local film crew union members. that number has grown to over 700 and continues to rise with the amount of filming going on.
uhhhhh lol well New Mexico IS boring so actually there might be a chance SOME people here would get drunk, kids cant drink but i know theres a lot with acting dreams aka me lolz.
NM wont ever be close to California in the film industry. I'm living here just for a month to visit my parents who live here. I've done some "extra" work for fun while here. Let me say, NM doesn't have the majestic feeling Hollywood does by far. There is also usually only 1 or 2 movies being filmed at a time in NM, and then in the winter the industry pretty much gets shut down. You'll see mostly the same crew workers at every thing you goto, and I swear they're all hippies and very amateur.
I am totally okay with NM NOT becoming like Hollywood. Egads.lol But I do find it interesting that two Summer blockbuster movies were filmed right here in the Land of Enchantment.
yes, yes...i knew him when he was greg williamson...hangin in kings plaza, the moonbeam, christophers and listening to Nice n Smooth...that's my boy Greg...lol
hmmm... i don't think the people actually FROM New Mexico would truthfully get excited or 'drunk' over the beautiful land of enchantment 'becoming Hollywood'. video is nicely put together and looks good, but creeps me out. for reals.
