It's actually spelt "xue" and pronounced "shoo-yoo-yay". There's no t or the i (ee) sound. I can kind of hear how the last 'xue' as said by Kai Lan kind of sounded like what you think but I hope KDCOMICTV didn't work this into his stand up routine because he will look pretty stupid to Chinese speakers for laughing at his own mispronounciation.
