Here's what I hate about this viral campaign - There are obvious shills (e.g. Myopiclady) for the movie posting stupid posts like, "Peter seriously needs theraphy... If u r so over y spend all ur tme on her. . ." with intentional typos and IM/text speak in the comment. It's blatantly false and reeks of some intern hired at a studio or street marketing company planting crap on web sites to make it looks like it comes from the people. It's lame & obvious. Myopiclady is a fake. She sucks.

This "viral" campaign is lame. If the title of the film is, "I Hate Sarah Marshall," and the film is as bad as this campaign, then critics have an easy review, "I hate I Hate Sarah Marchall."

At least people are getting familiar with the name "Sarah Marshall." Although I think the tone of the campaign doesn't fit perfectly with the tone of the movie, if you compare this to the trailer (which you can find on youtube too)

Hey. I'm talking about it, aren't I? So the campaign is making people talk. And I never said the movie is bad. I haven't seen it, so how would I know. However this viral campaign is annoying (I hate it). That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. I won't eat my word about that. I hope the film is great. Apatow produced it and I have been a fan of his forever (I actually watched Freaks & Geeks and Undeclared when they originally aired).
